Is there any chance, this next season, of having a better contrast between the numbers and the rest of the shirt? If you sit a way back it is impossible to make out the numbers and, consequently, it is hard sometimes to know who to blame for the latest fuck-up!

Agree with the OP on this one. I’m colour deficient (colour blind as most people call it). 1 in 12 men suffer with this and 1 in 20 women. From time to time town whack red numbers on the back of shirts and I find it really hard to see them. I hate it when they do it. It’s much easier to read the black ones!

This was the best ever method to deal with this issue. So easy, so visible.

I'd prefer a little device attach to the players you know what's...which can be activated by the fans when they're not happy with that player by pressing a button on a device laid out on every seat before the games. Every press sends a one volt charge...Obviously if one player is targetted by 18,000 fans it could be a bit tricky....for him....but smaller charges could maybe just be the jolt he needs to step up a bit ?

There would have been some even more interesting hairstyles on the pitch this season 🤪.

Tell me about it, I always struggled to tell the difference between Matos and Hogg.

Jackson and Wiles were indistinguishable at times last season, particularly as they were both well off the pace.
I had a hard time telling Spencer and Balker apart on the few occasions they played together as well.

While we’re at it, can we change the colour of the pitch for those that are colour blind please. It’s not very inclusive.

Was it the Panasonic one where the blue stripes just disappeared where the number was so like a box but not an actual box is that makes sense 😂
I saw an alll blue back someone was playing in t’other day. Looked smart but i wouldn’t approve of that, far too radical.

It was about it being difficult to see the numbers. There’s me and at least 2000 other people that struggle every week. It was just an observation that black numbers or maybe even a dark blue would be easier than red. It wasn’t for sympathy, it was constructive.

Bobby Hoy (against West Brom, I think). I’ve been trying to pick out the opponent but thrown a little by the kit! Closest player I can think of would be Henry Newton. Any thoughts?

That was their away kit in 1971/72 (https://www.oldfootballshirts.com/en/teams/w/west-bromwich-albion/old-west-bromwich-albion-football-shirt-s15523.html). Think Town won 1-0, remember because it was the first time I saw Town in England's top division. Can't say I remember what colours WBA were in, but that would seem right.
