2 different chants. Barmy army has always been for a manager Peter Jacksons barmy army etc. Then there is. We're the blue and white army. To the tune of seven nation army. Always Blue & White army in both scenarios for me, since the 1980's, and I've always been reasonably sure thats what people around me are chanting too! Iv never heard blue and white barmy army sung, so maybe was an 80s things.

Healey will rinse this league Hope so ern. cant help but remember a similar thing being said about Mbenza though when we came down from the PL!! I think Healey is the type of striker who will do well at this level, and Championship if we get back up soon. From what I’ve seen he has a good attitude and is a grafter with a good eye for goal.

Hopefully the retained list will be out by Friday but that may be a bit too soon given this new appointment. It will be an interesting window I think.

The question is if we can keep him fit and playing 90 minutes. If we are playing two up top will need a couple more forwards.

It has to be done and submitted by Friday so we will definitly know. Not much expected though. Only Rhodes, Nakayama, Diarra and Hogg out of contract. I think. Imagine 1st 3 will be let go, Hogg a year deal.

Healey has scored goals for us this season and everywhere else he has been. It would be interesting to know his goals per minutes ratio this season.

And, if he wanted it, make our home preseason friendly a testimonial match for him.

For tax reasons, the club cannot arrange a testimonial for him. DTS confirmed this at the Nagle Q&A last year at Magic Rock.

Especially since we’ve been relegated, he doesn’t seem like the type who wants all the fuss, which is a shame because 10 years is a major achievement and should be recognised despite this season.

Then we can see how good the experts are 😁

I doubt we'll ever see another testimonial down here. Footballers are well paid nowadays, even at Town, so there's not really any call for them. The last person to get one was Gerry Murphy in 2007, and the last three players were Simon Trevitt (1995), Jon Dyson (2001) and Andy Booth (2006).

It’s hardly an inspiring appointment just knowing the lower leagues is that enough to cut it ? but at least he’s got all summer to plot the next campaign, good luck and let’s hope some quality players come in

Testimonial revenues generally go to the player’s nominated charity these days given their wealth. I find it a bit odd that there doesn’t seem to be any plans for Hogg.

Wadsworth was either gone or on his way out (for the second time). I also recall one instance of Peter Clarke's barmy army, I think around the time Grayson was sacked.

He seems possibly a bit fragile attitude wise? Asked to leave Watford after less than a half a season, and then his reaction at the final whistle v Birmingham when there had been nothing of any note directed at him. Hopefully not - he looks like he good score an absolute hat full if he's physically and mentally on it.

My favourite was "Stanley Ternent's Barmy Army", heard about three times at the start of the 2008-09 season.

Healey will rinse this league Hope so ern. cant help but remember a similar thing being said about Mbenza though when we came down from the PL!! To be fair to Mbenza when he played in the Championship he got 5 goals with 8 assists in the equivalent of around 26 games. Whilst it was nothing spectacular he hardly stunk the league out. As for Healey, he knows the division already.

If Healey stays fit he’ll be leading our line next season you’d suspect, scored a hat full at this level previously and has shown in glimpses we’ve seen him for us that he knows where the net is.

It's a goal every 156 minutes this season overall. 140 minutes per goal in just league games. And 167 minutes per goal just in a Town shirt.

Schindler mentioned he would see all the Town fan's again when he "comes over for Hoggy's testimonial", unless things have changed since.

Is there a presser going on today, or will we wait until pre season for this or not have one and keep it low key ?
