If Nicholls wants out, he'll do for now. Makes the sale of Bilokapic last year look a bit silly though, they're the same age and Bilo looked like a slightly superior version of Chapman based on what I saw of him.

If Bilokapic had Chapman's ability with the ball at his feet he'd be worth a fortune. Unfortunately - as a modern 'sweeper-keeper' - he's a one man blooper reel.

Jeez, I hope not - on both points.
With all his quirky mannerisms and 'rituals', Chapman just looks like a kid with ADHD or Tourettes to me. He doesn't inspire any kind of confidence in me at all. He's bloody lucky that Maxwell got the nod at Tamworth!
Someone previously said something (I can't be arsed to look for it) about Town's keepers appearing to be missing that Clem character that jumped ship to Norwich. I reckon we've dodged a bullet from a self-publicist there. He's responsible for Town collecting academy keepers like Pannini stickers, with not one of them showing signs of becoming a First Team regular in the way that Smithies did. Schofield, Bilo, Chapman - all Clem projects.
Although Nicholls' form hasn't been Premier League standard, like it was in *that* Carlos season, he's the best on the books by a considerable distance.

His saves have and will win us points.
And he's a massive shithouse.

I don't know about Chapman.
His kicking distributions good. I can't remember him plucking a catch from a cross or making a save of any note.
