Can't say ive had anything to do with Robyn Kennerdale but most of the good news articles coming from Town this season seem to be from her department.
Hope Town can keep her around, other Clubs maybe looking to poach her.

Nobody is suggesting this makes up for everything on the pitch but it's important we look after the families and therefore the future town supporters. It's not like someone decided to prioritise being that welcoming to families at the expense of winning games |

The club’s celebration of failure or, at best, mediocrity has worn thin. |

Going into schools for breakfast club is brilliant. |

Whether you are interested or not this shows, much like the offices, the overall commitment to the club having high standards and being professional. The fact they employ people to do this (it costs something) and it is seen as important shows a commitment from the top downwards. It basically shows that people care enough.
That hasn't transcended to results on the pitch but it must give some encouragement that we aren't just going through the motions.
I do think there are areas the club could improve on but to get some awards shows they are doing some things right.

Rachel Taylor shouldn't be overlooked here either. Always worked in tandem with Robyn - they're both fantastic at what they do and work tirelessly behind the scenes.

Just feeling generally cheesed off after this season. It’s going to be a long summer until we can hopefully start to put things right! |

It is important - my wee boy just finished his first full season watching Town and despite the quality on the pitch, has loved it and is without doubt now a fan for life. That is partly down to the full Matchday experience which for a young lad is excellent.

The club’s celebration of failure or, at best, mediocrity has worn thin. Why does it piss you off? Every single Town fan has a Match day experience of some sort. For some it's just the 90 minutes on the pitch. For others the Match day experience is about a lot more than just the 90 minutes on the pitch. For some it's about going with the family and making it something enjoyable for their young kids. For others it's about meeting up with Family and/or friends a few hours before the match and having a few drinks and a bite to eat. Some like to get to the ground early and soak the atmosphere up, others like to get there 5 mins before kick. For some it includes drinks after the match, for some it includes a pint or whatever at half time, for some it includes buying a program and either reading it before the match or when they get home etc etc etc The club are trying to put things on down at the stadium a few hours or so before kick off and possibly after the final whistle for those people that want that kind of match day experience. And there are a lot, and a growing number, that do. My lad plays football on Saturday mornings and one week we drove past the stadium about half 12 / quarter to one and it was already starting to get busy in the Fan Zone. Ultimately, all those fans that want a bit more of a match day experience than the 90 minutes on the pitch, are going down to the stadium early and spending their money. Money that goes into the club as Match Day Revenues......Money that can ultimately go towards the total player budget (transfer fees, wages, signing on fees, bonuses, agents fee). So surely the more the club does to develop the match day experience and the more people that partake in it, the better??? If it's not for you, then why let it effect you negatively and piss you off. Just ignore it and let those that want it and enjoy it, do so. |

Yep, lots of good things off the pitch. Also they got the gong at the EFL awards for Diversity that was on Sky Sports so credit to all the non-football staff, none of these people are 'Nagle hires' either.

Really pleased the club have done so well here.
To get to where we want to be, we need to get many things right, the people that are supposed to be improving the squad obviously aren't involved in the family experience but success breeds success, get one part of the club right & it will get the ball rolling in the right direction for the rest. Naturally, if we do well on the pitch a lot of the other stuff will fall into place anyway but any success can't be a bad thing.

Gawd knows how we got any points for the website. For example NEW LEADERSHIP GROUP www.htafc.com/news/2024/may/club-establish-new-leadership-group/Shows 3 guys and mention 3 names to the uninitiated what name goes with what face. Website constantly littered with spelling and grammar mistakes, proofreading must be a dying art. And when does some of the stuff on the website get deleted. Latest news details tickets for games last bleedin October. |
