Good idea, put the away fans in the south end of the Kilner, they used to be there ages ago. Far better to have our fans both ends, even if the views might not be as good.

Good idea, then stick the away fans in the south end of the Kilner, or lower river side. Far better to have our fans both ends, even if the views might not be as good. Really? We have that already and don’t full either end The Kilner bank must be the most popular part of the ground for home fans - always looks the fullest part - & particular south end. Why would you do that?

Perhaps they could go in the FM, but given away fans one end allows them an unnecessary advantage.

But law ! Give you head a shake ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 How much law is actually in there? Stop shaking your head and put your glasses on! **None** of it is law 🤷♂️ The Act referenced isn’t where the quotes come from, they’re just from a guide book on how to operate sports grounds!

They had magic buses that could park in the impossible to park area behind the North Stand I guess?!

When the new cinema is built in Kingsgate and the Odeon shuts down we will have an empty building and car park sat there doing sweet FA. Drop a few curbs here and there and it can easily become a coach park. Doesn't need millions investing, just some ideas and creativity.

I get why some fans may want this but in all honesty this will be so far down the list of things to do/concerns for the club and rightly so.
Much bigger fish to fry at the moment.

It’s a completely pointless debate. You’re suggesting that we move away fans to fill it with home fans that aren’t filling the current section we already occupy. Theres no demand for tickets in the stadium , you only have to look at this season just gone and the first time since we’ve had that stand, it’s been noticeably thin, as has the rest of the ground. I’m not sure it’s a pointless debate Ben. Some have a view and some don’t. This season hasn’t been the norm. When we did have success we had the tinpot home end in the corner. Changing it now when it’s easier sets a process that would probably stay in place. ‘Tin pot home end’ Course it is lad.

I don’t think the football club has any say in what happens to that land as I don’t think they own it. At best, we may have a face at the table but don’t think we can make any decisions.

That was before North Stand was built and had no cinema etc, so was just basically waste land that they parked on. Weak bridge aside, no way they would let coaches park behind that stand now. They would have to totally redesign the car park for one, then youd have issues with folk going to the cinema, using the gym etc on a Match Day. Just wouldn't work at all.

Away fans should get the lower tier of the Panasonic. Panasonic? Showing your age there, old-timer! As an aside, I can't be the only one who can't keep up with what the stands are officially called any more? I don't even know the name of the stand I'm in - only that it is, and always will be, the Kilner Bank. I've never called it anything else. Kilner, North, South and Riverside (or Posh ) are MY official names for them

They would have to totally redesign the car park for one, then youd have issues with folk going to the cinema, using the gym etc on a Match Day. Just wouldn't work at all. And as someone has pointed out, there would be ZERO need to go over the bridge to get into that car park, they'd just go in from Bradley Mills Lane. Anyone who has ever been to Forest as an away fan knows that everything stated is an excuse, and not a reason...thats a PL club where away fans (and remember the majority DON'T travel via coach) funnel alongside home fans down a single track riverside path for the width of one stand before walking the full length of the main stand, to get to the away bit. Not that I'd change anything in particular about how our home/away segregation happens or where it is - although I'd maybe consider swapping who gets which side of the South Stand, so that away fans are surrounded on both sides by a bulk of the potentially loudest groups of fans. But - no point/need to do that now, there'll be barely any away fans next season to make any noise anyway...its something that would need a "more than 1 season" warning that all seats in that stand would have to be moved (I'd like to think it would be possible to do a mirror flip of current assignments as a good starting point!).

This topic is a bit boring now, it's been answered so many times. It's down to the operational state of the stadium and surrounding area and in conjunction with the police that we can't have away fans anywhere else in the stadium and especially in the Terriers Together stand.

I got told that some of the seats over there were heated (when the stadium first opened) but when I sat there they bloody weren't First game I went in the Riverside Upper for was an early league cup tie in 1995. Went with a group from school because it was the week our French exchange partners were over. Can't even remember the score or the opposition but I've a good feeling we lost. Weren't in the posh padded seats in the middle that had topless waitresses bringing you pies if you rang a little bell though. I'd like to see the pathetic North Stand Lower replaced with rail seating, steep enough that the roof covers the front row.
