90s retro themed promo with a VHS in it. 30 years since the final whistle & new beginning videos came out. Conspicuously purplish blue buttons on the remote.
My guess is a 94-95 Pulse home kit inspired away kit.

Slightly odd that they have a PS1 controller, but as the PS2 was released in 2000 I'm going with the working theory that someone got a bit mixed up...I also wouldn't be surprised if the remote control was from a Panasonic device. Nice cryptic teaser in any event! |

Currently wearing my Blue & White Panasonic home shirt for games.
Came down for 3 home games last year and we won the lot, Rotherham, Sheffield Wednesday and Millwall.
Probably buy the new shirt if/when I see us lose in Panasonic shirt.😉

I need to respectfully DISAGREE on this occasion Wingman although I think you’d get away with it without a shield in the above strip (which said discussion apart is sheer class indeed) but the shield will always be needed on the home top to distinguish the badge from the stripes... Also all the training tops that I purchased last season, the badge would be an absolute mish mash in amongst the design so it needed there for sure... I’ve some old retro tops and the one that is plain white with black yolks on the shoulders you’d get away with that one but not too many but even at that I’d still prefer it in the shield as it shows up the badge far far better in my humble opinion... This was a topic of discussion in one of ma local bars a while back and they all agreed with my ascertation though they are my strips and it’s me who will be paying for them or not should the case may be and not the lads in the boozer... But I’ve had countless folks here in shops and public fairs and shows and events of such like here on The Whisky Isle tell me what a lovely badge and strips and gear that Huddersfield Town produce time after time so they must be doing something right... 😊 I get that guys that were fond of the old style badge would be reluctant to change what they like just as I’m equally resistant to change the current format which I personally really like very much... I did mention that I’d possibly be in a minority here on DATM as there was a slight amount of clamour for the shield to be ditched but up here upon these shores they most definitely like the current format... But hey-ho that’s up here in Bonnie Scotland and not in Beautiful Yorkshire, but there again when did Scotland and England agree - Apart from probably agreeing to disagree ! 🏴 😉 🏴 |

Unfortunately it’s not going to be like that. Too much like the original. But the only thing I’d change on that is the collar. The v neck part. I’d have the collar that is on the Wimbledon shirt. Old school looking. |

Quality shirt; take my money.
The club is doing everything right at the moment. Great kits, improved professional social media presence and great signings. Looking forward to seeing any new improvements to the stadium that the team are planning too.
