For me, the blue is the right shade & the stripes the right width, but I hate the thin stripes either side of the big stripes & black has no part on our home shirts, with the exception of sponsors & numbers. For me, the blue is far too light. I suspect most people will agree with you but the lighter blue sets us apart for me. With regard to black, I'm totally on board with black socks for us.

I prefer when we don't use the bog-standard royal blue colour that pretty much everyone uses nowadays. However, this is far too light and makes us look like Coventry IMO. With you on black socks, though

Looking at Hoggy in the light blue training top, makes me think that he might be about to take my tonsils out! Care worker?

Seems to be daily focus on the Thrice Champions squad from the club. Guessing this is all going to coincide with the kit reveal. But when that will be is anybody’s guess

But when that will be is anybody’s guess it's setting my kit design detector off as well. Will probably be a design detail where the names of the squad from 100 yrs ago will be sublimated into the shirt fabric

But when that will be is anybody’s guess it's setting my kit design detector off as well. Will probably be a design detail where the names of the squad from 100 yrs ago will be sublimated into the shirt fabric Last season it was announced celebrating the anniversaries of the thrice champions, so you’d think it is to do with it. But it does make you wonder though as if the Umbro deal is in last season, if don’t renew with them, what will the 3rd and final year of it be and would the new company even buy into the idea. On a separate note, I think Umbro are by far the best manufacturer at the moment. For example look at the Adidas kits so far in the Euros, all the exact same templates just different colours.

That Hearts (I assume) kit looks like the keeper is going on a skiing holiday.

That Grimsby one is an example of how to completely ruin a striped kit - no stripes on sleeve, different colured stripes outside of the main colours, just awful.

Everything that could be wrong on a Town kit. Dark blue stripes with a red outline, blue shorts and socks. Then, for some reason, the seats in the new ground recreated that (I think they tried to backpedal and bizarrely claim the red represented the Giants).

A couple of other Umbro kits that have been released so far... I really like the Grimsby one. Always love that collar style and the blue instead of black would look great. Then the Hearts home one but as an away kit, would look great. Can't imagine we would go for their colour, but the style again is smart and minimal.

Not only is the Grimsby kit awful, I take it they are players "modelling" it - have you ever seen such non-football looking players in your life? They'll be drummed out of the union, not a single tattoo on them!

We'll have the Sacramento home kit as our away kit, and they'll wear our home kit as their away kit. Plus have the same 3rd kit for both. Saves a few bob plus adds a bit of interest to both teams.

For me, the blue is far too light. I've always preferred the lighter blue. The Pulse strip from the 90s I hated, far too dark. The Panasonic and Kirklees ones were perfect for me, although the PP non-sponsor one was pretty close.

Paul France did the tour, he said the seats were red so they could be seen clearer in the event of an emergency and to get to the end of the row quicker.

A couple of other Umbro kits that have been released so far... The Hearts goalies one could certainly put a striker or two off if their eye caught it then it could be slightly off putting... Also good to see the background of the ‘corner’ of The Terrace at The Tynecastle Schools end / McLeod St end and The North British Grain Distillery and some of its bonded warehouses... That corner roof cover was a boon to Jambos fans in pissing rain who ran from The School End and the open terrace all the way to the Georgie open end behind the other goal... Tynecastle Park (they deliberately omitted stadium) is one of the finest stadiums for atsmophere in the top league in Scotland... Hopefully HTAFC can get a pre season friendly there one day... Murrayfield where Scotland play the six nations is just a stones throw away as well !

Admit it Westie, it's the distillery you're interested in 😀 Oh I am always interested in any distillery for sure nearwildheaven ! 😊 Do prefer the lovely vapours and aromas that seep outta our local malt distilleries by far than The kinda maze and rye ones like that one behind Tynecastle stadium... Strangely enough I prefer a de-lux like Johnny Walker Black Label or a premium brand to any malts overall in the best footy bar back home when I’m in seeing how Town fare on Sky Soccer Saturday and I think (and certainly hope) that I’ll be buying myself a few more doubles next season when Town hopefully (actually surely) score more goals... 😉 But it’ll be malts all the way the night of ma birthday next week ! 🥃 🥃 👍

I want to see the return of a single blue hoop on white socks. When was the last time we had them, 1970s ? Here we go:
The last time for hoops was later than I thought, but this kit it my favourite Town kit -
1971-1972 h v
69 70. Just that. Blue and white stripes round collar, white shorts, white socks with blue calf hoop. Thats all they need.

According to my ITK sources, it will be blue and white stripes with a sponsor on the front.
