What stood out to me was the price...but perhaps I've been living under a rock and that's the going rate for a football shirt these days. Think I'll stick to my sponsor-less one, until it falls apart at the seams. Just wait till black Friday they normally knock 20 quid off the home shirt for a few days.

Surely you can return within 14 days of purchase and thus wear it for the entire tournament and then get your money back?! 😉😂 Along with the kilt and sporran! Aye but they’re not gettin The Hip Flask back - It’d be empty anyway ! 😉

Shouldn’t that be black socks Friday?

All looking okay - then you see the black socks!!!! 😱 It’s our traditional colour and differentiates us from the other blue and white striped teams.

Kit looks decent. Wrongly presumed the guy in the wheelchair was a new signing as we like to sign them injured! 🤣
The kit designers must be running out of ways to re-do blue and white stripes but this version looks classy without any silly bits like thin red stripes. Well done to all involved

And also £69 a pop. Some of the big Premier League clubs now charging £85 for their shirts. Absolutely ridiculous! The Chinese fellas knocking up the replicas for £15 a pop will be rubbing their hands together over it. I got my young en an England top from China and I can't see much difference to the authentic version and it was a fraction of the price. Much like Sky Sports/IPTV.. People will find a way to get what they want much cheaper whilst they price themselves out of the custom. FWIW - regarding Town shirt prices, I'm happy to pay it as season cards are always very reasonably priced. Yes let's hope the market in fakes continues to grow because of the crazy pricing, will teach the greedy bstards a lesson. Kit looks nice, especially when you look at that monstrosity Sheffield Wednesday have. Thin stripes have no place on a football kit.

'Pays homage to Huddersfields strong textile heritage'...what a load of inane marketing horseshit! 'The £55 price tag pays homage to football fans' willingness to fork out a shit load of money every year for a t-shirt that cost thrupence to make!' Nice design though. Or it would be if it wasnt for the silly jiggly edge to the stripes.

Has anyone managed to use the season card 10% discount in store at the club shop? Or is it online only?

I have seen the purple England one and a genuine one and I can't see any difference apart from the cost

I have seen the purple England one and a genuine one and I can't see any difference apart from the cost Done same for my two bairns. £25 for shirt and shorts, I can't tell the difference. They both wanted England kits, if we'd bought them the real deal we'd have been paying nearly three times as much, doesn't equate to value for money. With what we've saved I will spend in the Town shop. But again, that's vastly marked up prices on stuff they've had made for fuck all in sweatshops in Bangladesh, China etc. All be it, easier to chew considering season ticket prices and matchday prices at Town. Clubs need revenue streams from somewhere. Just had a look at Sheffield Wednesday charging £69 for their home shirt. Disgusting prices. Had a glance at their season ticket prices too. Genuinely would consider packing up supporting them if I did the way Chansiri has treat their fans the last few years. Sticks in my throat abit that we are now a division below them despite the shitshow that's been running things at Hillsborough. Hopefully not for long.

Kit looks fine! However it would look much better being modelled by Camila Georgi .{32 y.o. Italian Tennis star and model}look her up on facebook/orX Pretty lass, but too vanilla for me. She needs to get some tats and piercings and colour her hair some shocking green and purple combo to pique my interest

Lasses with piercings and tattoo’s, ugh, why ruin what’s already good? We need a Christina Hendricks, a Natalie Portman, Karen Gillan or a Sabine Jemeljanova (Google her work with Ayr United a few years ago) to model our kits. 😍😛🥵

She's incredibly beautiful and from the extras on Your Highness it seems she has a naughty sense of humour and I'd love to go out for a pint or two with her, not for pervy reasons either. Karen, I've always had a thing for gingers so yeah, lovely. Sabine I already know about from a British horror; Strippers Vs Werewolves, stupid film but my my is she pretty. I can appreciate unmodified beauty, I just prefer the alt-look, always have even as a bairn. I understand people's distaste for it though; it generally harks back to a time when only crims, armed forces or my fellow metal-heads had tats, ie the undesirables. Now every man AND his gran have them

Seen a lad with one on in Lidl this morning and the stripes are not lined up front to back, talk about poor production values.

Seen a lad with one on in Lidl this morning and the stripes are not lined up front to back, talk about poor production values. If you look at the last couple of Home shirts, we've had sleeve panels that separate the front and back neckline - so it covers up this issue. The only way a perfect match with stripes will happen is if the front and back panels meet exactly in the middle (half shoulder each side). With this current/new shirt, the front panel is wrapped/shaped around the shoulders whilst the back panel is flat, so the stripes will never match. Umbro must think this makes for a better performing shirt??? I agree, there could have been other solutions (as with previous shirts) - but it's a design issue, not a fault with the manufacture.
