The police think they maybe Town fans on their way to the away game at Cardiff that afternoon, mainly down to the fact that the assailant had a “ northern” accent. Comes from an article on Yorkshire Live.

If they are to blame, then hopefully they get caught and punished. If they are Town fans and have caused those injuries, I’d be totally ashamed to support the same team as them. However, until the facts are known, let’s let the authorities do their job.

I think we would all agree that they are vermin if they are guilty of this attack but to call them vermin from an image is a bit bizarre, especially as they look like most lads at that age. |

Firstly, they’ve not been convicted of anything. They’re innocent, the appeal by the police suggests they want to speak to them - it doesn’t say they’re guilty. The lad in the red coat is believed to have a Yorkshire accent. That’s all there is to go off. Secondly, do you know any of these lads? It seems unlikely that you or Rockwell don’t given the fact you’ve described them as vermin based on some photographs and an appeal to speak to these lads because one had a Yorkshire accent. I hope that clears things up for you. |

They look like loads of 20 somethings unless I’m missing something? What is your problem with them? Haircuts? Trainers? Goggle hoodies? Smoking? Seriously, they could be anybody in any town or city.

And in the photos they look a right set of chavs. Unless you're one of them......” They haven’t apparently done anything, they haven’t been accused, charged or convicted of anything. It’s an appeal to speak to them. You’re assuming based on their appearance. No, I’m not one of them. Again, a really weird comment. Why would I be one? Now to your second post, I’ve been accused of something I didn’t do and it’s not a pleasant experience but it doesn’t make me a chav. Police releasing images of anyone doesn’t equal guilt, if they are guilty then as has been stated above, they are everything you and others have accused them of however as it stands, they are completely innocent. |

It sounds like the one they really want is the guy at the end. Pretty clear photos if any of these lads have the slightest bit of sense they would come forward as it’s literally a matter of time and they won’t be able to attend a town football match ever again.
