A minor thing I know but it appears Canalside is now back to being called Canalside. Assume Miller Oils sponsorship has run out First opportunity for KN to get a big USA company involved in the club??

Therefore you would asume, he is trying to line up big deals for the pair.

Swiss Tony comes across as absolutely desperate to get shut of John Smiths from the stadium name too.

Maybe they got done by trying standards for having the words ‘high performance’ in the name ?

Maybe KN has seen the enormous sponsorship deal that Birmingham have managed to get/fiddle*/acquire and has looked at the 'value' of ours! * allegedly 😗

Would love it if we could afford to move away from the sponsorship model on the training ground / stadium.
Always cringed a bit hearing John Smith's Stadium in the Prem.

Somebody on twitter made the point that season cards all have the original stand names on them.....no sponsorship at all. Such as Kilner Bank Stand and Riverside Stand

Imagine if we had Castrol GTX as the shirt sponsor?
We’d never finish 90 mins… 😉

Is it the My Town account where you can pick up your digital ST?
I’ve just tried logging in from that site, but not sure if it’s the same thing as where I purchased the ST from?
Ta….

I imagine he's got some big deal lined up for once he has full control Great to see that he continues to improve the stadium though. We could have done so much worse than KN

Guessing a season like this and a new plan in place next year.

Maybe whoever will eventually sponsor the stadium wants exclusivity? Unusual for a club to actively remove revenue streams, hopefully they have much better deal up their sleeve.

Much as everyone (well, most people) derides the name JSS, I find it much better than the Galpharm. Gave the chickens and L***s too much of an easy piss-take. I lost count of the number of cluckers and chestwankers who asked if I'd been grown on a GayFarm during those years On FM I always use the editor to change the name to something like Yorkshire Arena or Yorkshire Stadium. Even though I still occasionally call it the Mac

I couldn’t care less what it’s called (ok within reason) if we get a decent deal
It’ll always just be ‘Town ground’ for me

The Club are working towards having all the names of stands back to what they are know as within the fan base, so are moving away from sponsorship names, guessing they have done the same with Canalside too.
Moving forward the 4 stands will be know as Kilner Bank, The Cowshed, Riverside and Terriers Together. Once the sponsorship agreement with John Smiths runs out, the ground will also be renamed, as yet I dont know what this will be, but I'd imagine given Nagles attitude towards the history of the Club then it will be Leeds Road related in some way.
The Club are investing quite a significant amount of money into the look and feel of the stadium over this summer and it will have a very different vibe this coming season from what it has done historically.

There’s just something about the South Stand being renamed the Cowshed that makes me happy. Would be rather nice to see a version of the old Cowshed sign on display as you enter the stand or internal across the back panels.

This is surprising given the fact that we've been told repeatedly that our commercial revenue is considerably behind where it should be. They have appointed a new Chief Revenue Officer (Paul Reeves) who has been tasked with improving the income in this area. He used to work at Sheffield United and has the task of brining in revenue from other streams to offset the reduced income from sponsorship. From what I know he has some great ideas to do this, so watch this space!

With getting the feeling I've had my head up my arse. What's happening with the shares in the ground? Did anything happen is it still the same? I feel like I've probably missed something.
