I normally go to the friendless but according to the website the only stand open for Town fans is the Core stand, the only car park is the Gas Works, that's no good for fans coming on Leeds road plus its forecast to rain, so i will give this one a miss. Met Office saying 26 degrees and sunny with white clouds ⛅️ 👓 |

Amazed with the apathy around going to this. Can’t think why you wouldn’t really. Oh, yes it’s raining! Get your sen down. Positive summer on and off the pitch. Yes we need a couple more in but as we’re away first league match, good chance for those of you that haven’t seen us in the flesh yet pre season to see how we’re getting on. Sheff Utd perfect oppo for last match before it all kicks off. UTT! Friendlies are a complete waste of time from my point of view. A glorified training session that’s played at half pace, and it generally turns into a farce 2nd half when both teams make 10 subs. Nowt against folk who go and enjoy them, but there’s nothing appealing about them for me. It’s all about Peterborough on the 10th. |

Whys it on a Friday night,what's wrong with Saturday? Leeds are at home & Sunderland are using Bradford at 3pm Saturday.....Avoid more fan confrontations possibly at L33ds train station? Where will be NO Sunderland fans on the train for this, have you seen how limited the options for getting back are? Ghey have to set off before kick off if they want to get home before 5am. Stupid decision....but doubt too many will be impacted given its a friendly against a tedious nothingness of a team and there should be next to zero interest. Will be amazed if there's more than 5k |

Would think this will be the first team’s first hit out together. Think that’ll be the lineup for 60 minutes before the ‘B’ team has a runout for the last 30.

Relegated premier league side Sheffield United in a final home friendly may not have everyone rushing to buy tickets but its the sort of test that we need now pre season is ending, the club could help stir interest by encouraging families down to the fans zone with offers/activities etc......Other penultimate fixtures this weekend (L1 teams) include Brum v WBA, Port Vale v Bolton, Rotherham v Doncaster, Fleetwood v Wrexham, Reading v Hull, Charlton v Portsmouth & Peterboro v Notts Co.

Even Hudlin managed to score in the final friendly last year, no disrespect meant to the lad, but that game gave me hope that he might manage to do a job for the first team.

Looking forward to this, I think that both managers will give us a proper game, at least until the mass replacements.
Hope to see Bojan and Harratt at some stage, I think that they might surprise us this season.
