A solid performance. I like that we seem to have some sort of identity again, pressing high up the pitch. Bar the odd moment we were comfortable enough and saw the game out well. Nothing spectacular but some positive signs.

Good 3 points, and nice to see Town going for the third and not sitting back inviting pressure. Found our men much better in the second half, too. Peterborough didn't have a look-in after half-time. Nothing to bewail today at all, really.

You won't see a more controlled half of football. Would have been nice to see us make more use of the ball and grab a couple more but a 2-0 start away from home is very good indeed

Played well second half. Or even after we went 1-0 up.
Much more enjoyable than than watching us for a while - and never looked in danger of letting them back in.

Very comfortable in the end and could have been 4 or 5.
Nice to see us pressing up the pitch and also looking comfortable at the back. I’m sure we can improve and it will be good to see Kane start.

That second half was class. We absolutely bossed them and our quality showed. Feel like we have another few gears to go yet aswell.
Hopefully we win the next two home games, should also make us an attractive proposition for prospective signings

Also, it was a joke. If I called a player out and they scored and someone took the piss on my comment I’d laugh. Stop getting so angry. I am old enough and big enough to take the hindsighted comment in good jest  as Big Ern says, it’s no big deal, we have varying opinions. I for one still don’t think Ben wiles is good enough to be a mainstay in this midfield but I’m happy to say he put in an 8/10 today. |
