Some good performances there, but the energy and effort throughout was much much better.
The new boys did well and worked hard., what a change from last season though.
Winning the first game is so important, instills self belief and confidence, and I think we'll get better...

Second half other than Brodie taking too long to clear one was the most comfortable I have watched in a while.

Excellent performance and result. Thought Koroma was very impressive today. Evans was outstanding. Difficult to tell if Pboro are any good or not at this stage with all the changes they have made so it's hard to gauge the quality of that result. But, you can only beat what's in front of you. And we did, pretty comfortably after the first 25 minutes or so.
We pressed them into so many turnovers it was unbelievable. Long may that continue.

We will go with 4 strikers in match day squad. Koroma played like he wants to be one of the four. Healey worked his socks off. Other 2 will be Callum and???.
If we sign another striker Ward and Harrett may go elsewhere.

Hope so but it's the same issue I've seen for so long with Town. Real lack of composure and making the right decision when numbers are in our favour. It's only likely to change when the quality of player improves. That West Ham lad from the clips at youth level (yes I know) looks a clever and cool type of striker |
