looking forward to ticking another off my list. think i’ll be up to about 21/92 now if i remember correctly Yeh it starts off at 92, I couldn't say how many I've done now but there's a couple this season that one or two will not have watched Town at like Crawley, Stevenage & Shrewsbury (great old ground).........I would bet one of the favourites for many Town fans will be Sincil Bank for the memories, not many victories in Lincoln but on two occasions we did are probably in the top 20 (for me). Is Shrewsbury a new ground in a different place or same place and renovated?

never been to peterborough before. what’s the ground like? Me neither, so I'd appreciate an answer here. I'm led to believe that Charters Bar is the main away pub, although if anyone could confirm that would be great. Similarly any other recommendations for away-friendly pubs if Charters is rammed.

Wetherspoons next to train station & Charters are the only two I've visited, football ground guide recommends The Palmerston Arms, Yard of ale & The Peacock all nearby......Looks like they're in the process of building a new ground (acc FGG), existing place is 90 years old this year, hence 1934 on seats.

Gutted I’m missing this game. First time missing Posh away for as long as I can remember. Hopefully find a boozer with Sky Sports up in Alnwick. Going to be a great evening for everyone going. UTT Black Swan in Alnwick on Narrowgate has Sky.

I think Saturday is possibly one of the most important games we have had in a while. That might sound a bit daft but let me explain:
Given everything that has gone on in the past 5 years, and more specifically how the Nagle era has gone (on the pitch) to date I think, fairly or unfairly, we need to see a performance on the pitch that demonstrates a real shift in momentum. That doesn't mean we necessarily need to win but perception of the playing side of the club could be shaped significantly in the 90 minutes.
Fans want something to believe in again. Saturday can go a long way to shifting the mindset but equally if things don't go well it could set the season off to a bad start we definitely don't need.
As for how it goes I don't think we could have picked a more challenging first game. They are a solid League One team and then there is the log standing rivalry between the clubs. It is a compelling match.
My gut feeling is we will get a draw with signs of encouragement for the coming weeks. That would be more than alright. However anything less in terms of performance will set alarm bells off.
If the players are together, MD has a plan (and can adapt as required in the game) and we give 100% that will be a good start.

The Battle of Stamford Bridge is the last battle involving the Vikings on British soil and their last invasion of the British Isles too. Led by Harald Hardrada to exert his claim on the crown they were defeated by Hardrada's half bro Harold Godwinson who promptly made his way down to Hastings where he succumbed to the Normans and William the Bastard, with an arrow through his eye, immortalised in the Bayuex Tapestry. All historically correct apart from the Battle.William,s army landed at Pevensey Bay {Near Hastings} the actual battle took place on Senlac Hill and an Abbey was built nearby,it is called Battle Abbey.

Used to be my favourite ground to visit when they had the big away terrace behind the goal but not been since it’s been knocked down. Usually a decent away day few pubs around and that

I’ll need to remember that it’s a 5.30 kick off as well… I had completely forgotten about that! Would have had an extra 2 and a half hours in the pub, which sounds ok except I'd be drinking soft drinks as I'm driving.

The last time we won automatic promotion (it was from this league) we started with three defeats, five draws & just two wins in our opening ten games. With four games remaining we were top of the league but ended up finishing third......It could be another bumpy ride this season, you wouldn't expect it any other way, would you?.

Can anyone summarise the press conference?
Much preferred when the twitter page did a summary. The views they get from a few thousand watching the press conference is pretty minuscule IMO.

Hoggy Says dressing room best in 5/6 years. Wants to play as much as possible Feels like the club has been reborn (paraphrasing) Impressed with the stadium changes and new gym equipment etc Duff Wants 2 or more in, focusing on strikers it seems. Explained the structure of the new responsibilities to players handed out etc Helik is captain at times, so no need to have him as one. Happy with the squads attitude, but won't know truly until the action starts. Whole ethic needs changing to approaching every game to win. Happy with Wiles Everybody fit bar Baulker and Bojan (as previously mentioned). Isn't aware of any bids for our players, no need to sell, but there's a tipping point where a suitable bid comes etc Plenty of time to go in the window and expects movement to start. Had a chat with Ben Jackson and both decided it was best for Jacko to move on. Anyone else chip in?

Seems like he won't take shit from players, but also won't take bullshit from above.
