Changed my thinking slightly.Would imagine Hogg will start.Peterborough attacking side but our wings back could force them back.We might really try dominate midfield so think could go 3-4-2-1
Nicholls,lees,Helik,Spencer,Hogg and Kane the deeper midfield 2 with Kane more licence and then wiles and evans in front with Healey up top.

Do I imagine he starts against Stevenage and Shrewsbury at home…no I don’t |

I’ll need to remember that it’s a 5.30 kick off as well… I had completely forgotten about that! Would have had an extra 2 and a half hours in the pub, which sounds ok except I'd be drinking soft drinks as I'm driving. Be pretty wired from all the sugar by then |

From Press conference Glass Bojan out for a number of weeks injured Groin ! Everyone else with exception of Baulker is fit for the weekend. Glass Bojan? He was a virtually ever present for his previous club, he was in all but two matchday squads last season when he signed but was always playing catch up fitness wise due to their early season finish. He's picked up a couple of unfortunate injuries pre-season and now he's made of glass? 🤔 Name me a footballer that's never picked up an injury or two? |

I think he'll pick Lees over Pearson, though I'd prefer Matty as he's more dangerous at set pieces.
I also think he'll pick Wiles & have Kane on the bench.

Good press conference from Hoggy and Duff.
Interesting on strikers and that MD def wants to add one or two in that area.
What I also liked though, was MD saying that sometimes buying new players brings out the best in others in that same position. Healey could stay fit and Bojan might end up banging them in, but you need depth for injuries, lack of form etc. There are two many doubts and variables to confidently rely on the strikers we have, but don’t write them off either.

All historically correct apart from the Battle.William,s army landed at Pevensey Bay {Near Hastings} the actual battle took place on Senlac Hill and an Abbey was built nearby,it is called Battle Abbey. Apologies for the historical faux pas. No apology necessary lad. The useless quiz writers on the pathetic quiz shows like The Chase and Pointless always give the Lazy answer,boils my piss!.Incidentally,Stamford Bridge {Scene of the Battle} near York,I know it well,crashed my Ducati there yonks ago.Hit a big pothole on the bend before the bridge,our kid shot over my head into a field I landed on my feet {weird} picked the bike up our kid climbed back over the hedge bike started with a kick starter and we rode home with bent forks and no rear footrest,both of us intact..Happy days!  |
