He is available for the squad, not sure if its been mentioned already. Why would you put a player in the squad who you've only seen video clips of, who is not tested at this level, who is not familiar with our style of play, who hasn't played in any of the friendlies, who probably is not match fit, who is busy moving up here, and who has not met his team mates yet? Just asking! exactly this! And it would also be a good way to lose the dressing room before the season has even started: “I’ve been working so hard for 3 months coach, why am I not starting?” “Well, this 18 year old who has played 0 games in his professional career who just arrived yesterday and has no clue about our playing style looks good on YouTube so you will have to wait for your chance, could you also tell the striker who was supposed to be on the bench that he can stay home this week as we won’t need him at all?” |

show composure , back each other up in all areas of the field and leave Cambridgeshire with a well earned result .

I seem to recall that there was a pub offering parking for a tenner with a pint and pizza. Did I remember that correctly and if so, which pub was it? I expect I'm probably a bit late to book now but you never know. Was this when we were last in league one mate. My head tells me inflation will have seen to that deal! 😉 edit. Apparently not.. That’s a good deal! Parking is paid for. I can get the pint and pizza on arrival apparently. |

Well three hours from now we will all be back on here - for me today is all about a "reset" - would love to win (of course) but if we lose then its all about the manner we lose. Up and at em and if we are beaten by a better team then no complaints. Having watched the utter shite served up last year all I care about is the "feel good " factor returning in the style and manner of our play.
Get into em Town - play like you mean it and give us some pride back and wear that famous famous shirt with all the passion and pride you can give !

I dont have a dodgy stick or a sky sports subscription.
If I purchase a day pass on NowTV will I have access to it, equally using a VPN could I buy a match pass via the town website like with ifollow.

I hope that Hogg is in for these kind of tough away games and we don't use him for home games like the next two where we are going to dominate the ball. Those games need Kane rather than Hogg |

After all the effort hope Marshalls dad didn't get tickets!
Disappointed Kane not starting, but shows how far we've come in midfield when we have competition for places.
Lees for me is our best defender (defensively) and pleased he is starting.
A shame for Pearson, but again shows we have improved with strength in depth.
Harratt to come on a score to prove a point (hopefully).

Need to sign his replacement first, at least.... Problem is for me that the last 4 or 5 managers have been obsessed with playing through him like he’s some kind of Rodri type player. He can’t pass really, and his legs have gone. I’d be alright with Kane playing there with kasumu and Evans in front to do the running |

Seems weird to see a team sheet and broadly agreeing with it. Dangerous. Whenever I've seen a team and squad I'd have picked in the past we've invariably gone on to lose. I'd have picked 10 of the starters, swapping only Hogg for Kasumu, and had Marshall rather than Harratt on the bench. Also alarming is how balanced the side looks. There's a distinct defence, midfield, and attack. Along with a left side, centre, and right side. It's weird. |
