Anyone know if there are any bars or pubs likely showing the Town match? We’re in St Paul’s Bay and I know it’s a long shot but thought it was worth an ask. Thanks in advance!

There's a sports bar opposite the dB san Antonio hotel. If you ask lad behind bar he will probably put you on. Cheap beer as well

If your struggling the coffee shop included also shows sport. I watched all the games in there a few years ago.. not sure if they also serve beer, but can't imagine I watched the games without. UTT.

Not gonna lie, thought this was going to be a tall tale about a sick relative and needing help with a flight...

Did you get the match on? Did indeed, got the big screen and really enjoyed the match. My son was sat in his Town top and loved it. What a good game and thanks again mate, the guy at the bar was more than accommodating. They had a DJ who had to wait until the Town game finished before he could crack on, what a good do 😁

Id love to go back again, even though I've been 6 times before. Definitely stay in st Paul's bay as that's a lovely part of the country

I believe they meet most weekends in Mgarr. There were all models and some lovely Mustang's, Camaro's, Cortina's and Capri's.

We saw the occasional old American auto whilst staying in Mellieha Bay a month ago. Our first time to Malta, great hotel, great food but we found Malta (or the northern part of it) to be more rocky and arid than we’d expected, although we were limited to what we could be with three young grandchildren in tow. Having worked in North Africa a lot the Arabic influence was clear and slightly surprising.

I like it there, just not a great deal round that area

What with Malta being one of the few European countries that drives on the right (by which I mean correct) side of the road. I've long had a bit of an idea for an adventure of getting trains down through France and Italy and a ferry over to Malta, buying an old RHD car, and driving it back.

Many thanks.

That sounds like a mid-life crisis type of thing… 😉 Good luck if you get to do it though…

I’d say there is plenty to see and do, boat rides to Gozo, Blue Lagoon, 3 Cities etc, good beaches, hotels plus the churches, castles etc. We only went for a week and had three grandchildren aged nearly 7 to nearly 2 with us so the main thing was to keep them busy and happy.

Many thanks. It's nice there, we had a couple of meals in Mellieha and in Malta you're only ever 30mins from anywhere. It's a lot quieter than St Paul's but still only a stones throw away. Hope that helps.

Malta is a fascinating place, with a great history. Sadly, the Mafia has got a hold of it currently. Some of the stories coming out of there in the last few years beggar belief.

Me and the Missus are in Mellieha staying at the Radisson in just over 3 weeks time, can't bloody wait for it. If anyone knows anywhere that might show the England/Town same on 7th Sept please let me know, she'll love that.
