I think the lads put enough in today to warrant a decent turnout on Tuesday evening. 5k + for the friendly v Sheff Utd - surely more for a competitive fixture with tickets at £10 adults, £5 kids www.eticketing.co.uk/huddersfieldtown/EDP/Event/Index/3184See you on Tuesday 👍🏻 💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙

I think id put a few lads from last seasons side in as punishment for being shit. But on a serious note, a home win for them would hopefully continue a rebuilding of confidence and dispell this 'losing feeling' people talk about.
Mix it half first eleven and lads who didn't get time today.

MD made 5 changes to the team that played Northampton in the EFL cup at home while at Swansea last season, yesterday's subs bench will be itching for a start plus Ruffels, Turton, Jones & Callum Marshall......Morecambe are favs for the drop from L2 & lost narrowly at Walsall yesterday, Rotherham needed a penalty shoot out last season at NYS in 1st round, hopefully Town will progress within the 90 mins.

Add Iorpenda to that list needing a run out. Duff name dropped him yesterday as being extremely unlucky not to make the game day squad. But depth is how you go up and quite rightly we’ve kept him, be good to keep his momentum going so as to keep him ready.

Even 15 mins off the bench every other week is not what I think he needs at this time in his career & he won't even be on the bench most games at the moment. I'd loan him out to play in L2.

Should play a complete B team plus Marshall and maybe Kane. If our 2nd string can't beat Morecombe at home then they shouldn't be here

I think we might keep him as an option to see how we get on then a loan in Jan if he's not had minute's, unless we sign another midfielder before end of this deadline then will go in this window IMO

Could make 11 changes if he wanted to.
Maxwell Pearson Ayina Ruffels Kasumu Iorpenda Kane Headley Jones Ward Marshall
I think it'll be a mixture of this and Saturday's team though. With Duff's post match comments I suspect we'll be seeing Iorpenda. Who was the academy lad playing right wing back in pre season? Might be worth a look as we've got no cover in that position.

Eccleston - but he came on for Barrow yesterday.

Maxwell Sorenson Pearson Helik Spencer Headley Kane Kasumu Wiles Healey Koroma/Marshall
Why rest Wiles, who is clearly a confidence player, when he's just scored and got an assist. Similarly with the strikers, they might get off the mark in the cup which gives them the momentum to take into the next league game. Someone suggested Healey might end up in the L1 team of the season, can't see any evidence of that so far myself so he needs game time. Don't see the point in giving a start to Ward and Harratt personally when our first choice strikers need goals to get them up and running.

I cannot understand why a cash turnstile isn't an option. It's ridiculous. I won't really be in a position to decide until about 6pm on Tuesday night. There would probably be hundreds who would turn up ona whim if it was ten quid on the door, straight in. Barmy. HTSA bring this up at next meeting. What's wrong with paying on doors for games like this? Especially if the weathers nice, understand people not going if its chucking it down but town may well lose income here.

Mind you the people who might turn up and pay cash would surely outweigh any fees.
