IMO we should play a strong enough team to win EVERY game, a winning mentality is hard to stop! We know all about the loosing one!

Are the EFL Trophy games 1st team matches? They don't appear on the website 1st team fixture list, I know they are played during international breaks & presume cannot be postponed due to call ups......Trophy winners Peterborough played around 64 games last season but ultimately missed out on promotion, above all other games isn't league always priority?

It wasn't! He was sacked after the Fulham game, though Hodgkinson did spend the evening after the Lincoln game performatively on the phone walking up and down the touchline. That was a grim night though. An awful performance that sticks out because of how utterly woeful it was. Spaces all over the pitch, every player somehow isolated in possession, Herbert Bockhorn's one and only game making Houdoutu look like Cafu... (maybe not on that last one). Just looked it up and we didn't even use all three subs! It was. Hodgkinson sacked him after the Lincoln match but asked him to stay on for the Fulham game. Then sacked him again after the Fulham game. So he actually sacked him after the Fulham game  |

Currently sitting on the plane at Dublin airport coming back for the game with my eldest. Woke him up at 4am and he said “can’t believe we’re going to watch Town today!” 💙 🤍💙🤍 And yet there's someone earlier in the thread not bothering because they'd have to purchase a ticket from the ticket office before the game. There are rules against picking weakened sides in that competition so one would have thought they counted! |

2nd round draw (if we're in it) takes place tomorrow night after Boro beat Lids, like the 1st round it will be regionalised (north/south) with PL teams not in UEFA competitions added......Ties to be played 27/28 Aug.

Thought he got sacked after the Fulham game. Sadly, I can still remember exactly where I was on the M1 when the news came through. I'd kept Radio Leeds on in the car even when I'd got past the good reception area because it was expected. He got sacked after the Lincoln match but then Hodgkinson asked if he could take charge of the Fulham game on the Friday and then sacked him again. Didn't realise that. I just remember being on the M1 when he was sacked, and I didn't come up for the Lincoln game |

Do sky have this again this evening? If not who’s showing it? All the matches are on Sky Plus again. As far as I know, ALL the EFL cup games are available on Sky Plus this season. They'd better not cut the games off at 90 minutes tonight on TV as they all go to penalties if it ends as a draw 🤣 |

A win will do, its more how we play that interests me. The previous league cup games have seemed to just drift by us and the feeling we lacked real interest in them was pretty palpable at times.🤔 |
