What striker have we got that is going to score 60+ goals, or what 4 players have we got that are going to score 25+ goals each. We have a defender who can score 9 goals for starters...we will get a lot of goals from midfield and even Danny ward will get double figures No, we have a defender that scored nine goals in one season. He scored the same amount across his previous THREE seasons before that. If we don't have at least one attacker that scores a bagful of goals, I doubt we'll be going anywhere. Danny Ward had a chance to get two on Saturday...

Yet when he scores a winner it will be "Danny" "Danny ward" Lord Ward 👑 You should be wanting him to do well...while he still pulls a Town shirt on he will have my support

You're not getting promoted if your striker is scoring three goals a season.

And you should not be going to past seasons
OK then..we nearly spanked 1 million quid on a 31 year old who did fook all in 3 years at Doncaster rovers

Town were lucky Peterborough didn't score one of their clear chances before our first goal, better quality would have punished us.
Our defence isn't bad, I just don't think they're quick enough or not quite the right mold for the system Duff will play. The loss of Baulker is bigger than we realise
Our midfield and Strikers look good and will get goals if we can get round the double decker bus that Stevenage will park in front of their goal.
I reckon 2-1 town.

Only three teams conceded less than Stevenage last season and they started off with a clean sheet Saturday. With our current strike force it may not be as easy a game as some are predicting.
Hopefully another striker through the door by Saturday or at least get our Northern Island international on the pitch.

I’ve just read Stevenage have signed goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis on loan from Reading. Apparently one of their goalies is injured. I’ve seen plenty of Bouzanis at Sutton United before he joined Reading and then when he returned on loan last season.
Hope he starts on Saturday! He’s a good shot stopper but is prone to errors under pressure and isn’t the tallest, not the best with his feet either.

Maybe the 101 goals of the 79/80 4th division title winner's could be broken this season? That was a great!

Watch him have the game of his life now.
