How stupid was Pearson there? Let them score a goal, he went down way too easily but he was always gonna see red for that, now Saturday's plans are fucked.
Way too complacent all game, Ruffels terrible & our starting midfield from Saturday couldn't pass to each other yet again. Really disappointing.

Question to the rules experts. Are players still allowed to shout “man on”? Because it doesn’t appear as though that’s the case with Town, it was the same on Saturday. He/They/She/Them on. Booking for using the wrong pronouns

It seems some of our players, seem thoroughly annoyed to be playing tonight.
Ruffels utter garbage Wiles has he even passed to a town shirt yet ? Evans again gash Marshall seems to be hiding a lot, west hams great hope, give him a couple of weeks here and gone to crap Headley - half arsed at best
Duff talks about raising the standards, tell the players please mr Duff , they seem happy at just going through the motions week in week out after Peterbrough.

What has happened to professional mens football for the Ruffells tap and the Pearson tickle to be red and yellow cards ffs. Fuck that’s just the modern game or he’s brain dead for doing it the way players go down is not only against the law of physics it’s utterly embarrassing So you think it’s not a red to take someone down with a direct run 20 yards from goal?

We are getting totally unnecessary cards that could hurt us later in the season. Hard to avoid them when the ref’s a complete idiot. Ruffels, daft. Booking. Pearson: not even a foul, and certainly not a red. DOGSO can’t happen when the ball’s in the keeper’s hands. Evans booked for a perfectly fine challenge. We’re a soft touch. Every man of them should have been in the ref’s face after that shocking decision. Fight the bastard. Point out how much of a biased shit he is. Point out his utter inadequacy. Get in his face and bully him. He should have faced a wall of men screaming in his face, making him dread giving anything against us. Nothing.

This performance from a back three might be the worst I have ever seen from any town side and that includes when Robins decided to put Matt Crooks who previously had only played as an attacking mid for the u21s in the heart of defence for the season opener

Sky Sports + must have hired the same test manager who looked after Fujitsu and Horizon…
I mean, how can you get what should be a fairly standard offering in the streaming content world, to broadcast like it’s over a 64k dial-up service….

He touches him yes but don’t tell me that forward does not feel the touch and go down there’s no way that challenge is enough for a fully grown man to go down it happens all the time. I’m not saying he dosent touch him but if that’s enough of a push for a fully grown man to go down then 🤷♂️

No DOGSO because he’d lost possession.

Really disappointing that first half....except for the scoreline.

Apparently Town had 80% passing accuracy in the first half. They must have been doing their usual endless sideways and pass back to the goalkeeper routine for the first 30 minutes.

From the refs point of view there is no decision to make, our defender pulled their attacker when he through on goal. It’s soft but Pearson is just a clown

Another arrogant sod as well as you could see when Maxwell was trying to talk to him at half time.

Took someone down?? He barely touched him, just tickled his arm very lightly & striker went down like a sniper had taken him out! No way a foul Tough watch that first half, we’ve been terrible. Second half likely to be an even tougher watch with 10 men

Yeah, it's not great and I'm in the positive camp normally! Passing is atrocious.
Get the comments about the midfield but I wonder what we are wanting from.midfield in the 3 at the back formation. The ball rarely recycles through them as it's across the back to the right or left sided defender then to the wingback etc. We don't really play through midfield so not really sure we are looking for that central playmaker the way we are set up

It’s a shame there’s not the opposite angle to view for the dismissal. It seemed really soft when you consider the amount of pulling and pushing goes unpunished in the middle of the park.
Pearson didn’t really complain though. Is that a discipline thing that MD has instilled in them, not to go all (premier league) apeshit at poor decisions?

Interesting shape.
Gone 4-3-2? Koroma doesn’t appear to have dropped deep or wide.

Really disappointing that first half....except for the scoreline. in my ideal football world, the defence would only be there to do just that, defend. The Pep-isation of football all around the world has become awful to watch. Our last 4 or 5 managers insistence on using cloggers like Pearson, Hogg and even Helik to play out from the back has gotten us absolutely nowhere and plays more towards their weaknesses than anything else.

I’ve googled it and found out. Test Manager - Norman Collier…

Why are our players so thick. Surely Ward knew he had to play that in front of the on running player and not square
