Lol least of our worries! Game won and lost on centre mid. Don’t know why you think it’s the least of our worries When I left after the third the invisible man wiles was still on the pitch offering fuck all as per usual. I could mention many more that had a worse game than Hogg including the coach but I've already wasted enough energy on that shower of shit this weekend. Suffice to say we didn't deservedly lose 1-3 at home to Northampton because of Jonathan Hogg. |

And a special shout out to the ref for making the easiest game he could ever manage look impossible. Clueless with decisions, inconsistent all over, wastes) allows loads of time wasting, wastes loads of time himself and then doesn't bother adding it on. An arrogant wanker who thinks he's made it because he's had a few championship games.
And before some dullard goes "the ref didn't cost us the game" - I know, we were shit, but he was just as bad if not worse.

Blackpool win away at Charlton & will fancy playing a team who look flat footed & out of sorts in front of their own fans........Unconvincing again at JSS, Northampton realised they didn't have to wait for a 2nd half spell going on the front foot from the off.

Unacceptable. Entirely self-inflicted. Helik bears responsibility. Entirely. Without his utter idiocy Northampton don’t get any kind of boost. It is the softest goal I have ever seen us concede, and frankly is a goal that should never happen in any form of football. It is not a mistake that should ever happen. It is a goal that should see him fined and dropped. You cannot ever do that in a game.
Second goal is actually a lovely move, to give Northampton credit. Which they deserve.
Third is soft again. How we didn’t get a free-kick - when he’s spent the afternoon giving them exactly that free-kick - I don’t know. Stand up, and you don’t get a free-kick and you’re under pressure. Fall down, and it’s a free-kick, and that’s the issue. Consistency. For what it’s worth, if he hadn’t spent the game giving soft free kicks for minimal contact, I don’t have any complaint. Sorensen had to just get rid. He didn’t.
Koroma stood up for the penalty he’s in form. But that wait - 2 minutes and more - between award and taking was not helpful. If he scores I think we win. Not draw. Northampton would not have had the composure to defend a one-goal lead with 10. If we got level, which we would have done, we’d have had that momentum to hammer one more home. But we missed and that’s that.
Six minutes is a questionable amount of time after 2 goals, a delayed penalty, a red card, multiple substitutions (5? 6? At a minimum of 30 seconds each), and multiple yellow cards for time wasting. I don’t blame Northampton. They were out on their feet. They needed to take sting out and did all they could. But 6 minutes should have been 9.
Entirely self-inflicted. Credit where it is due to Northampton, who had a good press in the first half and the second goal was very good despite our right side going missing. But if we had played with heads and not gifted goals, they weren’t going to beat us.

No manager on earth says ‘that’s how to play’. Except maybe Ian Evatt. What is on him is being too slow to change systems. It should have been 4–3-3 from half-time, with Koroma and Marshall either side of Ladapo. He should also have started either Hodge or Kane - and I don’t think Hogg had as poor a game as made out. We saw his limitations in possession laid bare, and when he went off we saw us - finally - dominating the ball and looking like creating more chances. |

Headley awful again, Sorenson looks worse game by game and just can't defend. Midfield can't string three passes together, strikers creating nothing and can't hold up the ball. Doesn't seem to have a plan B. Defence looks worse than it ever has. What looks like our best midfielder on the bench til too late then played just in front of the centre backs next to Hogg despite us being 3 down. He has to take as much responsibility as the players for today, if not more, a terrible performance from the coach. |

Duff has said they ran harder than us as one of the main reasons for losing, and has also said it wasn't a lack of application. That makes sense.
The most worrying thing was he said they played exactly as we expected them to and yet we had no game plan for it.
