Been up since 4am. Worked until 12, drove 2 hours to get here, first home game of the season and treated to this. If carlsberg did football games it would be this, similar to their shitty piss weak driving lager.

Helik is THE most overrated player we have had in the last 5 years. And that takes some doing. He isn't 'overrated', he just, for whatever reason, isn't following on from the form he showed last season. He was fully deserving of all the plaudits he received last season, and we were 6 games into this one, that doesn't make him 'overrated'. A lot of fans very conveniently ignored how many goals he was at fault for last year through poor positioning. |

He only got plaudits because he scored some goals in a putrid team. He isn’t a great defender, he was part of a defence that let through the second most goals last year. |

I would make 3 subs now and take Headley, Hogg and Wiles off tbh Duff's insistence on starting Hogg is starting to really piss me off. Also Headley is not a footballer. |

Might be a bit more respect for Northampton after their showing so far. Far from a sit deep and lump it team  . Despite disrupting us well so far and Town's inability to force any openings, I still think it is Town's to lose. Their keeper can be exposed with any outswinging cross and there have already been 3 occasions where a well timed ball through puts our forwards clear, but we have failed to execute, or simply fail to stay onside. It might take a scruffy goal from Town(in the right net this time) to kickstart any revival. |

Bolton papered over the cracks. We are poor. Look at the way Northampton were playing one touch passing. We could never, especially with players like Hogg and wiles with very limited technical ability. They also are much faster and stronger than us, winning every battle which is a worry.

Get Headley and Helik off the field. Disgraceful performances from the pair of them with most of the rest not far behind.
Switch to 4 at the back and overload the flanks. Duff has been massively outcoached this half.
