There should have been subs on 30 mins If he doesn’t change something at halftime, subs being the absolute minimum, he’s lost me. Marshall has to come off. He's lost every foot race he's been in this season. Got to get some players on who can pass a ball too, like Kane and Hodge |

Helik is THE most overrated player we have had in the last 5 years. And that takes some doing. He isn't 'overrated', he just, for whatever reason, isn't following on from the form he showed last season. He was fully deserving of all the plaudits he received last season, and we were 6 games into this one, that doesn't make him 'overrated'. What form last season? Did you see our goals against? Been saying it for ages. As a defender he isn't that good Couldn't give a shit if he scored 9, his job is to defend. |

Pathetic first half. Northampton seem to have worked out that good passing and keeping the ball in the middle and last third of the pitch is a more effective way of playing nowadays (certainly against a team who faff around with the ball at the back - would like to know how many of the completed passes in that half went back backwards).

Changes needed at half time.
Ladapo on for Headley. Play Josh at wing back.
Kane on for any of the midfield three. Although Hogg has done more than Evans or wiles.

Don’t know why teams at this level try to play out, a recipe for disaster. Duff has to change it at HT, we’ve been awful so far.

I'm really not convinced about either the coaching or the way the team is set up. The midfield is having absolutely no impact. Hope we try something different in the second half. We've got to go out and be brave and take this game by the scruff of the neck.

Can't handle the press, midfield would have difficulty passing wind, Headley showing why he's not first choice. Kane and Freddie have to come on 2nd half, Marshall not the player (yet) to get us out of this self dug deep hole. MD has to earn his money over half time.

I would take him off though as we need to get back in the game and he doesn't offer anything to go forward and attack. |

Embarassing.
Helik is a disgrace. What professional passes back to their keeper at that pace towards goal in their own box? They set the tone for the diabolical second.
Don’t get me started on how Headley is even a pro footballer.
Five changes at HT easily could be made. We can still win this with our quality but we have to come out fighting, early goal and get in their faces as they’ve had it way to easy for a long ball team.

Why does every manager seem to think helik and lees can play out from the back? Only Warnock didn't. They are both soo slow too.
Headley is just wrong decision after wrong decision isn't he? He's frustrating to watch because you know it's going to go tits up yet we keep the ball going out to him in hope that his pace does something and wiles to be is a fair weather player, does well when the team does well but doesn't seem able to be able to grab a game by the scruff of the neck and change it.
