Does anyone know when it'll be confirmed on/off due to international break? Assume we'll have 3+ call-ups and therefore be postponed but I'd like to get train booked if it stays on....

Good post. Never matched the Int Break into it. Got train tickets and hotel already. But staying in London for the American Football at Spurs on Sunday - so would be a shitter if no Town game on Saturday. Surely we can ‘decline’ a postponement if Northern Ireland and Sierra Leone are playing 🤷🏻♂️ Can’t be fucking about with stacking games up surely???

You'd hope not but Koroma and Marshall preferred front two then it seems like they might want to postpone? But that'd mean a Tuesday night trip to East London in November. Who wants that?!

It will be postponed. Orients last game during international week was postponed. Could have been at Peterborough’s request but I’m still not hopeful.

Galbraith is in the NI squad, goalkeeper Keeley & O'Neill are in the Republic U21s & Donley with England U20 team.......Expecting all four to be called up in October.

I'd say that we'll know by the end of next weekend (give or take). For reference, the Blackpool game was postponed on 23rd August, about 2 weeks before the game

I'm down for the England game on Thurs and extended the trip to account for this.
Shit happens, will just arrange to do something else down there.
Same time, if both teams are weakened, and depending on the quality of the respective players, you could argue just getting on with it.

Tickets now on sale but no notification on if this game will take place on the intended date. Waste of time buying tickets or arranging potential transport down as likely to not happen on the Saturday due to internationals . Suprised tickets have even been released so early, also why do they mess fans about like this as some folk might not realise the game is high on the risk of postponement, surely a warning on the town ticket site would be advisable , it shows the complete lack of caring for the loyal supporters who travel to such games like this.

It's an absolute insult to proper fans this shit, cancelling games at the drop of a hat. Get rid of the meaningless internationals and play the qualifiers midweek like they used to.

Cancelled as expected . Why oh why did they even need to put tickets for this on sale in the first place . Feel genuinely sorry for the town fans who have booked travel expenses on trains on the back of ticket release. As per usual the whole set up doesn’t give two f&&ks about fans. Disgrace ( the fans who are going to the effort of going to games like these are the ones they should be falling over backwards to look after). Shit from the Fa Shit from orient And shit from town ( why announce this ticket release without a warning of a more or less certain postponement) I’ve nothing to do with town and knew this game wasn’t happening so did they

It's not on really. Would cost a small fortune for train tickets and even more if people thinking of staying over. It's all well and good giving a refund on tickets. But people will still be out of pocket

Barnsley v Reading on the 12th Oct is also called off. Maybe the Trophy game could be moved from Tuesday to Saturday now......Would bump up the attendance, especially for young school kids to attend.

Good idea, but I'd imagine it won't be as all police cover etc will be set up for the Tuesday and bet they say can't be arranged for Saturday

When Ann & Sue were running things they probably would not have put tickets on sale or if they did a message about risk of postponement issued to fans, but they were Town fans too & not just employees.......If Town & Orient fail to make the FAC 2nd round this match could possibly take place on Sat 30th Nov.

I was planning on going to orient 4 of us and staying over, just glad we didn't book anything. Just goes to show how the modern day football fan is treated now, discraceful.

Very true indeed Bluebeard... Guys like myself and Lossiemouthtownfan travelling from Scotland have to be ever so careful regarding this... It’s bad towards the end of the season when Sky take a bit of time to pick what they want if like me one is looking for a long term in advance cheap hotel deal What on earth happened to The ‘Customer* is King’ mantra then ! ☹️ *Football Fan*

The EFL should be proactive on the fans behalf and strike an agreement with hotel chains to ensure that bookings do not need to be paid for in advance. Agree wholeheartedly that it’s just not fair when it’s totally beyond fans control.

Not sure if anyone's mentioned this before.
I've just been to ticket office for a refund on my Orient away ticket and initially got told they couldn't reimburse the booking fee.
Once I questioned this they managed to refund me.
It suggests that, unless you ask, they will keep the original booking fee.
I know it's only £1.25 but they'll charge you again for the rescheduled fixture and moneys tight for a lot of folk.

To pinch the booking fees would be an absolute Micheal take .

Fair play to Orient. That's a quality gesture. Hopefully fans repay them by selling out our allocation

Hopefully a home FA Cup tie on the following Saturday ! Good test for the team in advance if so... And hopefully with a home draw I can make long weekend of it in Huddy and Yorkshire ! 👍 🥃 🍺 😊

Did we sell out before it was postponed? Gone on the website and it doesn't let me select more than one ticket.
