Players running to the home crowd to wind them up/ antagonise them/ do a stupid dance after scoring .
Case in point,Northampton’s third on Saturday. He’s put them in a seemingly unassailable lead yet would rather goad the Cowshed than celebrate with his own fans a few yards to his right.
That used to be a yellow card for inciting the crowd, but since Jamie Vardy has made it an art form everybody wants to do it.
When did the rule change, anyone know?

Brennan Johnson always does the finger on lips and runs to the opposition fans whenever he scores … then was complaining he’d had to come off social media the other day because of the abuse he was getting.

Add it to the list - Throw ins(line outs) 10-15 yards from the 'spot' seems ok Dead ball kicks or kicking from the area..20+ seconds now ok Sticking your leg across the ball to win free kick/penalty...is now 'going for the ball'.. Grabbing hold of opponents at free kicks/corners ...now just a free for all... The 'kiss the wrists, cross the chest...arms up to Allah'.. when entering field of play (even bloody Hogg is doing it now)Seems all our "FIFA qualified coaches" are teaching the dark arts now rather than player skills.. It's performative bollocks, that stuff. Would those players do their silly little rituals if they were walking through the doors into a drab office job on a Monday morning? Or clocking on at a textile mill? Would they fuck 😂 "Oooh, look at me, I'm kissing each wrist then pointing to the heavens as I walk onto a football pitch"

Yes ,saw that. I could understand it if he was getting abuse on an Alex Pritchard scale during matches but I don’t think that’s been the case has it?

As an atheist, I assume churches are full of professional footballers every Sunday morning.

What did his Dad say though? Is there a picture of his reaction?
