Not bad on the balance of things, we have had so many more opportunities than them, and a lot of the game has seen us camped in their half. Its a massive improvement on the previous 2 games. Its just so disappointing to concede though, in that manner. Suicidal pass from Koroma and I cant even see what he was trying to do. If he was looking to lay it off, he has to play it sideways to run onto, but he passes it as if he isnt expecting him to move. But we have more chances to defend and clear it and still they get through and score.
This will really be points dropped if we dont win this. They look almost as bad as Stevenage did. Other than the goal, which we pretty much gifted them, they have done very very little.

Glad we haven't capitulated from a mentality point of view. Need to get back in front we can win this if we play it right. Still think we give the ball away way too easy at times, usually when a simple pass is on too. Been a consistent issue in every game so far.

We look much better than Reading imo. Much better balance in midfield allows Hogg to concentrate on his usual role and Kasumu has added some much needed energy. We look weak up front still and need to change this if we are going to win the game.

When Headley continually fails to beat the first man with his corners, why is he still taking them?

Two fouls there, neither given. And the complaint is about Duff going to get on with the game.
Anyway, free-kick in a good position now.

That is a ludicrously harsh booking. Not pulled him back, just got back alongside with cover.
Want to see the disallowed goal again. Initial impression was just off. Lonwijk does go for the ball from an offside position. Don't think Pearson was. Under current rules... God knows. Under common sense, the right decision.

Pearson was onside
Longwijk was off

That looks like a very good call from the linesman, he looks just offside

Nowhere near offside. That is a nonsense decision. Where is the coordination between ref and linesman. Pathetic.

Koroma fooked that up...fooking idiot Mids, I usually am on the same wavelength as you usually. But, your constant target on Koroma has to chill It was a misplaced pass, it happens. He could have done better yes. Longwijk should have put his foot through the ball on his own 18 yard line under pressure too after winning the ball. Mistakes happen, all over the pitch, up and down the country. This one just got punished. Koroma can't be an idiot if he bags the winner today Trust me, I'm calm. Don't go ballistic over defeats or exuberant over wins. There's many things more important in life, and mine particularly The fact remains Koroma fooked up initially and then Lonwijk thought he was Van Dijk True I believe Koroma to be a sulky liability...but if he can keep scoring regularly then fair play to him...as long as he's off penalties if we ever get another

Ref needs to start yellow carding these Reading players for simulation. It’s a joke.

I don't understand players standing offside then trying to get back onside. Pearson was well onside but no doubt Longwijk deemed to be offside.
Hard for linesman to tell whether it's the scorer or not too so he flags.

We're holding the Galacticos of Reading at the select car leasing Bernabeu which is exactly what Duff set us up to do. Embarrassing comment. Are you watching the game? We've been far better and have still got gears to go into. Duff set up to contain a very poor, transfer embargoed Reading side in turmoil. When he said they were a 'very dangerous side' I didn't expect him to go there and play 7 defensive players. We were the better side first half but it still ended 1-1. And just as I'm typing we've conceded yet again!

I think it’s too early to be suggesting that. I remember a lot saying at the start of Trevor Chalobahs loan that he was a teeeible signing and he had a brilliant second half of the season. Sometimes we forget how young some of these lads are. I'm not sure the last 6 or 7 games of the season when we played him at right back (following Simpson not playing after the covid break) count as a 2nd half of the season. Over the whole season he was a poor signing. A good signing but constantly played out of position. Finally came good when moved out of midfield.
