All we have done since going behind is fouled and put the ball out of play. Playing right into their hands but all composure has gone. Same as against Blackpool. As soon as we are behind the players panic and lose any composure, shape or basic skills. Poor game management from Duff.

Reading look extremely comfortable, it's a team of kids at a club in turmoil. I dread to think what a good team would do to us.

Last ditch defending by reading, unlike us who are scared to put our bodies on the line.

He's first line was right though. There's dozens of bedwetters on here just waiting for us to mess up. Maybe we’re people who have realised all along we’re not quite good enough and wins have glossed over that. It’s your fault for not realising it too, doesn’t make anyone a bedwetter. Hahaha you're the captain of Bedwetters United. I'm not entirely sure how any grown up can be so reliant on Town's results each week.

Yep, I'm in complete agreement. I can stomach defeat today far more than Northampton or Blackpool, where it was completely unacceptable. Today we've had that bit of bad fortune, we've created chances, and been punished by an opponent who have had two meaningful shots and scored both. Which will happen from time to time. Not over yet. you have set your bar so low it’s laughable No, I just understand how football works, unlike you. Since Reading went ahead, we've been poor. Fine. Agreed. But they scored from their very first corner. We'd forced the play for the entire game until then. We'd scored, had one disallowed, and kept the keeper busy. They have had four shots in the entire game to now. And sometimes that happens. The side that forces the play doesn't score the goals it should while it's in the ascendant. Meanwhile, we're on 15/16 shots, we've created opportunities. We've just not scored more than one. If you watch football, that's something you should know to accept because it happens. It isn't lack of effort. It isn't 'unacceptable'. It's just how the game goes.

Another piss poor corner. At least put a man there 'cause you know 50% of the corners aren't going past the near post.

Let that sink in.
Against some pish teams as well.

How we have missed Sorbas ability on corners this season. Surely not, we were told that anyone on all the set pieces would make the same number of chances as Sorba.

Seems those early performances and defensive solidity have completely disappeared and we’re back to the Town of old - concede so easily and have to huff and puff to score.

Tactics? Players? Or Both?

Reading have the bailiffs at the door and we’ve got a squad of 20 decent players for this level. Taking nothing from Northampton, Blackpool and Reading is relegation form.

Genuine question for those wanting us to play a different formation from the start - what formation and who plays where?
I don't like our setup at all but I don't see what else we can play.

People saying they can stomach 6 defeats in 7 because we had a few shots in the first half says everything about the mindset running through the club. It's fucking pathetic.

Unlucky that goal. Spencer's stretch interception goes straight to the goalscorer. If hd hadn't tried so hard it would have been cleared We get punished every time there's an error, seemingly, at the moment. Yep, I'm in complete agreement. I can stomach defeat today far more than Northampton or Blackpool, where it was completely unacceptable. Come off it. We're playing against a club in complete dissary, a team full of 2nd choice/youth/players being played out of position, and you're trying to excuse it.

Serious question, why are we so poor? Tactics? Players? Or Both? This is a bit of a weird game so far. We've not been great, but I don't think we've been terrible either. We're more tenacious in the press, we're getting into good situations but lacking quality of the final pass. This has been our best performance in weeks (outside of Bolton) not that the bar has been set high in any of those games, yet were losing, currently..
