Judging by Tuesday, Duff says absolutely nothing to them. I disagree and will give some credit to Duff today. The goal aside, which was just stupid from a few players, we have looked solid at the back, far more so than in recent games. He needed to sort that out and has so far. We've also looked better going forwards. Both of those could be the standard of opposition, granted, but I don't think your statement is fair.

Playing reasonably well, but they are terrible. We need to win games like this to be above midtable.

Evans having his best game in a while here. Reading for the taking if we can capitalise

Marshall was a poor signing I think it’s too early to be suggesting that. I remember a lot saying at the start of Trevor Chalobahs loan that he was a teeeible signing and he had a brilliant second half of the season. Sometimes we forget how young some of these lads are.

Town playing well, Evans in particular. Unlucky to concede but we need to keep up the pressure Not so much luck as poor judgement. Better side in general play but level through our own fault. Agreed on Evans. Looks better on the left, and the whole midfield looks like a tighter unit.

We've actually been quite decent that half.

Can’t help but think Hodge would give us much more composure today.

Reading are miles short of Northampton and Blackpool on that evidence. Got to be winning this

Good response after the goal which was very preventable. Nice to see Pearson back on the scoresheet and I think we've got a very good chance at winning this.

Much better midfield performance so far, better balance with Hogg holding, Kasumu playing the box-to-box role and Evans as the creator playing in between the lines. Evans in particular has looked a cut above anyone else on the field.
We've been the better side, but for me the front two have to show more and one stupid error from Lonwijk/Koroma has cost us. Too many times that has happened this season already for me

Reading for the taking here. I’d wait 10 minutes and then think about bringing on Sørensen for Spencer and Miller for Headley - better attacking options when the home side offer little threat on the flanks. I’d be tempted to bring on Ladapo for Marshall too. Really go for it.
One thing that baffles me - Radulović. Bought to be a Championship striker but unable to get into a League One first 11. Multiple managers unconvinced by this lad. Have we bought a dud?

We're holding the Galacticos of Reading at the select car leasing Bernabeu which is exactly what Duff set us up to do.

I'm not sure the last 6 or 7 games of the season when we played him at right back (following Simpson not playing after the covid break) count as a 2nd half of the season. Over the whole season he was a poor signing.

Well apart from giving them a goal this has been mush better. Kasumu’s energy and pace helping.
Matty Pearson - good solid half - showing some desire. Well done lad.

Much much better, shame about that one passage of play but I think we’ve got more goals in us based on that half.

We're holding the Galacticos of Reading at the select car leasing Bernabeu which is exactly what Duff set us up to do. We've been far and away the better side. We're not 'holding' them. They're holding us. 11-2 to us on shots, 5-1 on shots on target. We've messed up for the goal, but that's football. There are valid complaints about individual passages of play, but generally it's been so much better and no real cause for complaint.

Longwijk has to put his foot through that, suicidal. Koroma fooked that up...fooking idiot Mids, I usually am on the same wavelength as you usually. But, your constant target on Koroma has to chill It was a misplaced pass, it happens. He could have done better yes. Longwijk should have put his foot through the ball on his own 18 yard line under pressure too after winning the ball. Mistakes happen, all over the pitch, up and down the country. This one just got punished. Koroma can't be an idiot if he bags the winner today

Much improved performance, Kasumu, Pearson & Evans, especially, have boosted our game.
I'll be disappointed if we don't go on to win this.

I’ve gotta be honest I’m struggling to stay with the league one matches. The standard is really poor. I find myself drifting off..

Reading are there for the taking if Town stop 'just giving' away stupid goals. We can win this if we keep going at it. Kasumu putting himself about, Evans having a good game. Like to see Hodge on for Hogg though.
