Two things I’ve taken from this half is, Alfie May has forgot he signed for Birmingham and not Town. And I really like Duffs coat. It’s a DUFFle coat.

really positive half from town all things considered. You may as well have a cardboard cut out up front instead of radiologic, but miller has been a bright spark and we’ve created some good openings. We still look very vulnerable at the back.

Turton or Sorensen ?
Turton for me.
What has Marshall done ? Defended and won the ball back to whoever who asked. What has Bojan done ? Nothing. Ever.

We still look very vulnerable at the back. We've done nothing in the last 30 mins. No way we'll hold out if we continue to play like this. Giving them chances aplenty

This commentator is really winding me up now. He's not even commentating, fucking dreadful, given the history of every Birmingham player, coach and recent matches. Meanwhile there's a game going on in the background, complete twat.

Legs have gone now. Fitness is shocking in this group I agree, we don't look fit. You could work half this squad to the bone and they wouldn’t be fit enough; Wiles, Lees, Pearson, Bojan et al just aren’t athletes.

Lucky to be going in level but some signs of encouragement especially early on.

I thought we started well, and all things considered, a solid first half.
But we've progressively been dropping deeper and deeper which is going to come back to bite us if we carry on as we are.
Birmingham look decent going forward, but they're not all that at the back.

I suppose we need to be happy considering our form, but we need to find some energy from somewhere, we can’t keep letting them push on as it’s only a matter of time until they get a break through.

One way traffic, just feels a matter of time before Brum put one away.
Little composure on the ball from Town. Would be tempted to bring Hodge on for Kasumu soon.

Good half that. I don't think the legs have gone, I think Duff has said go at them for 15 minutes and try and get a goal, that's when they concede most of their goals. If it doesn't happen sit back and conserve the energy. It's not realistic to play that way for 90 minutes. I expect Koroma on at half time to have another go at doing it for 15 minutes...then sit back and hope for a counter if they don't score.

Half expecting the commentator to tell me what he’s had for his dinner. Bloke won’t shut up!
Pearson has done alright, seems to have held his own I thought. But do agree it looks like it’s a matter of time. Bojan and Evans look absolutely shattered considering they’ve not done owt.

Much better, very good first 20. Radulovic still too soft, must be virtually a non contact sport in Finland. We’ve got progressively worse as the half has gone on though, bound to concede if we carry on in the same vein

Felt relatively positive about some of Town's play first half. Switched over to the Arsenal game for half time and lost a lot of that positivity. Those boys are playing a different sport to ours!

Far better team until about the 30min mark, then dropping too far back. Can’t quite tell whether that’s energy gone or tactical.
Either way much improved given the opposition. Need to see Koroma come on for more goal threat.

I can see why we've got an xG of 2... I can also see why we have an xG against of 2. Half time came at a good time for us.

Would be just like to Town to win this 1 nil. With Radulovic getting the winner.

Commentator is a wanker, won’t say anything bad about Birmingham. And if he says St Andrews at Knighthead Park one more time I’m putting my head through the tv

Not bad for first 30 minutes then we have just dropped deeper and deeper. Birmingham won’t be that bad second half. Be a miracle if we get a point from this. Still think Birmingham win 2-0.

TBF better than recently.
Kasumu & (in particular) Miller have made a difference.
Needed Alfie May's clearing header though & our lack of pace at centre back still scares me.

Good half hour then reverted to type.
Lucky to be 0-0 after that May gem.
Hopefully we can get sorted for 2nd half...you could see the players dropping off, stop marking and not seeing the runners..

Good 20 minutes or so, but then we just seemed to lose our energy, which is surprising after only 20 minutes. Then as soon as we lose a bit of energy and a bit of pressure is put on the defence we start to look a bit shaky. The defending for the Stansfield chance was pathetic, and what has cost us in recent games. Just a ball forward, we make a hash of it, then miss our tackle, and you expect Stansfield to punish, but thankfully he drags it wide.
Got to press them high in the second half as they want to piss around with it at the back, and like all teams that do that, they will eventually make a mistake especially on a wet surface. We could do to cut out the long aimless balls forward too, as we are just gifting them possession back. We will have to score at some point if we want anything, cus I cant see them not punishing our brittle defence.

Birmingham changed something after half an hour, dropped one of their pivots much deeper to help them play out, other one pushed on to take one of our midfielders away. Worked a treat for them. Wonder how Duff will respond
