been in Scotland for a couple of weeks and found these amusing place names
Dufftown
Moss of Barmuckity apt place for our favourite ex ref to come from made me smile

A village 1.5 miles from where we live is called Headley.
Obviously an area of Batley is called Healey.

My sister named her dog Boothy (2009-2023) and I several times saw the man himself and always introduced myself as the fellow whose sister owns Boothy. My daughter in Australia has a rescue dog already named as Tucker when they got him. Boothy (the man) thought that was hilarious; he was an apprentice when Tucker was infesting the first team. We were very close to getting a rescue dog called Wilson from a centre at Bawtry, but someone nabbed him just before we got there, so we bought a Border collie pup and called him Lucas (not after Jutkewicz, Akins or anyone).
