He's a shit manager, no plan B, too many days offs. The team looks bereft of ideas and fitness and look to be becoming worse by the week.

A lot is going to have to change for the better to convince me to renew next season. I didn’t renew this season Ben. My daughter had had enough and so had I as I was just burnt out with it. I’ve been to one game and still couldn’t get enthused but I loved the beers and company before. I stopped enjoying watching Town but I still support them even if some folk don’t accept that. I feel the same about football as a whole. I rarely watch it on TV and hardly follow the results anymore. I’m much more interested in Rugby Union, cricket, probably even golf when for most of my life, it was just football.

A lot is going to have to change for the better to convince me to renew next season. £450 as well Ben. Cloud cuckooland at the top at least they won't have to worry about 4k not turning up Wheres this £450 season ticket number come from? I'm not sure even I'd buy one for that price and I've had a season ticket at Town since 1995. Would seriously have to think about it and likely just pick and choose home games.

Looked a completely different team with Healey and Koroma up top. Actually gave their defence something to worry about. Bojan and Marshall gave us no outlet at all. Koroma should have buried one of those headers though. He should have buried both of them

What worries me is the lack of identity, I just don’t see consistently good periods of play with this system. It’s not like we’re waiting for it to click, we look like 11 individuals making it up as we go, much of the time. We create next to nothing, which considering our relative squad strength in this league just isn’t good enough.

We lack pace going forward and we lack a real centre forward. We therefore lose out on the percentage balls that are part and parcel of football and most definitely at this level. We take too long to get the ball forward because of this. Not asking for 90 minutes of kick and rush but being able to exploit the quicker, longer ball is what is missing, imo.. Too slow, you lose any chance of breaking, you invite the press, you are likely to lose the ball closer to your goal. Too many passes required, mean more chance of a bad pass or poor control or having it pinched, closer to your own goal. We do make life hard for ourselves, harder than it should be. The 3 5 2 is immaterial when you HAVE to play far too much to get out of your own half. Added to that we are clearly not great at the pass, pass, pass mularkey, we mostly fail at the pass, bit..🙄

We played like we have to play for about 10 minutes in that second half. Moving it quick and winning the ball straight back.
The rest of it was shite. Not one exciting player in our squad.

There are some right drama queens on here.
We're 8th in the league, just 1 point off the play-offs and actually only 7 points off an Automatic spot.
We sit 3rd in the form table, with 11 points from the last 6 matches, only Exeter and Wycombe have more points in the last 6.
We went behind twice and came back to get a point
Anyone would think we are in the bottom half and just been smashed 5-0
We're a league 1 club with league 1 players. They are going to be inconsistent and sometimes shit...That's why they play for us in League 1.

Need to ditch the 3-5-2 and get us into a 4-3-3 lineup (or some variation). We can't keep clean sheets with 3 at the back so we may as well play 2 and hope we score more goals.
Spencer isn't a wing back, and Sorensen has been very hit-and-miss so our right side is ineffective in most games.
I'd like to see a front 3 of Koroma, Healey and Marshall with Wiles behind them. Kane and Kasumu deep.

Anyone who wants Duff to stay. Other than 'we can't keep sacking managers' why do you want him? That is basically my only reason because with the poor players we have I think the best thing any manager could do is roll the shit in glitter. Countless managers and countless failures with one constant - the players (and the recruiter Cartwright). Do you think if we got a new manager, we would be any better? I genuinely think that if we played a different system or at least had another option if it wasn't working then yes we would be doing better

We’re not going up are we? For me, as long as we're there or there about up in the top 8 come January. It will ALL depend on how good January is, with parting ways with those not good enough/not up to it, and the willingness to spend a bit of bob on quality additions. I wouldn't let Cartwright do the suggesting though. I think we'd still have a half decent chance.

9 points behind Wycombe, and it's barely November 😂😂😂 And?? Wycombe are top of the league and have won 6 out of the last 6 games, scoring 16 goals and conceding just 3 Both clubs are league 1 teams. Not sure what your point is?

If the season so far is anything to go by, that's game over. We're yet to even score an equaliser this season. Sometimes I say things like this in match threads because the universe's commitment to proving me wrong usually tends to outweigh anything else! Same

I don't think it was arrogant or presumptive of me to expect promotion this season but we are not going to get it.

I watched the rugby. That was a cracker. My son was in the next room watching Town and all I could hear was ‘shite this’ and ‘shite that’. He walked into my room a broken man. It’s shit being a Town fan. Though just like Town, England bottle it when it matters.

Cloud cuckooland at the top at least they won't have to worry about 4k not turning up Once I don’t renew, it’ll be very difficult to convince me back. The way the clubs been run over the last 5 years has been a disgrace and Nagles contributed to that by relegating us into this God awful league, I’m watching slow turgid football that is a million miles off automatics which is the absolute bare minimum I expect from a former PL club. The football is so predictable and pedestrian. There is no energy, spark, it’s just limp. The clubs puddled if it thinks I’m going to keep committing my time and money to watch this garbage that’s being served up on the field and for a higher price. The products shite and when I look at the club as an entity the best way I can describe our football club right now is like a faberge egg, all pretty on the outside but fuck all on the in. I’m so unenthused by Town, they’re losing me rapidly. I can’t warm to this group of players or manager. There’s no steel about them and I’m not convinced Duff has enough about him. That first goal we conceded sums up everything wrong with our club atm, I’ve stolen this from master cracker but the bit in bold is everything… Off the ball we don’t work hard enough, we don’t press their back line, we don’t chase down, we are lethargic and we’ve no fight in us. We’ve conceded the first goal 8 times this season and lost all 8, that isn’t a coincidence. Just seen their goal again and the complete lack of reaction from the entire team, including Spencer who fucked up, is a joke. Heads down, get the ball out the net, trudge up the pitch.
No despair, no bollockings, not encouragement. Pathetic bunch of wetwipes.

5th best defence in the league but only 1 team in the top 10 has scored fewer goals. Our 6 "strikers" have 8 league goals between them. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out where our problems lie.

The postive is we came from behind twice , but a really poor result and another awful performance. Genuine promotion contenders put 4 or 5 past teams like that.
We are a mid table team at best . If we can stick with the top 6 and actually spend on some quality in January who knows.
Frustrating as hell watching us , god knows why I am going to Mansfield.
Looking at teams like Wycombe,Lincoln , Stockport and Wrexham and they are outperforming us. Who said go to League 1 and reset , enjoy winning games again! We will be in this league for a long time again based on current performances.

So you expected and presumed we would get promotion this season did you? Why was that? What did you see last season that made you think we would get promoted this season. Or what did you see over the summer that made you expect we would get promoted? Or was your presumption and expectation of promotion based purely on the fact that we were a Championship club last season

Either way, I still think the formation change is needed to get more goals into the team

Other than wiles we offer no threat at all in open play. It is boring football in which we plod along and don’t try and move the ball or players quickly. We need to ditch this terrible formation and start attacking teams.

Losing interest rapidly. Better things to do on Saturday afternoon Like what? I'm as pissed off as anyone with the shite football, boring negative formation, downward spiral, defeatist attitude the club has been in for years now. But football on Saturday afternoons are ingrained. If I'm not there I'm listening on the radio or watching a stream, following other clubs scores on line etc etc
