Someone not happy with his comments in H Town the other week maybe? If someone can't get Ramsdens banter they can fuck off. Top man who loves to try and make a laugh during the shit times. If he has been suspended/sacked, my whole belief in Nagle etc has gone. So a quality employee and town fan has been replaced by an inferior version. It's becoming a bit of a theme. The club is beginning to look fcking clueless tbh. On and off the field. Embarrassing. Just another awful decision to add to the big long list since they arrived. Clueless. |

Could not agree more. For the past 6 years he has been the only good thing about Huddersfield Town. If he has been sacked I’m predicting that there is going to be hell on. I’m not so sure a riot reading some of those replies. Seems a few, albeit a very small sample size, agree. |

What are the chances that he was made to sign an NDA and so can't come on here and even confirm he's been let go, let alone why, or give his opinions on those who made the decision?
Or is that me being cynical?
Either way, with all due respect to the guy who did it today, he wasn't a patch on Rambo. Agree re him not mentioning the 69/70 promotion team by name when they came out, that was disappointing (not that much could be heard, but that's been the case for a long time to be fair)

I hope this isn’t true. I don’t know him at all personally, but I think he’s really good at what he does. Piss poor if town have got rid of him. Not sure who it was on the mic today but he sounded very high brow and boring, like they’d got someone senior doing it. Didn’t seem to have much knowledge of the town players on the pitch at half time either. Let’s hope he’s just on holiday 🙏

He was let go this week. Club want to “go in another direction”. Apparently towards a dull, anodyne and robotic replacement. A lot of effort went into bringing players from 6970 together, as we know well on this forum, and the guy didn’t introduce most of them by name. I’m sure it wasn’t deliberate, but I’d like to have known which one was which and heard from more of them. Rambo would’ve instinctively known what to say in that moment. That is indisputable . Sad, sad day. Piss poor really Yet nothing that the lot in charge of the club do seems to be for the better at the moment 17 years to be replaced by what looks and sounds like AI. I’ve had this definitively first world moan before, but one of the values I bought in the White Rose Club was the engaged and entertaining hosting Paul delivered. We stump up premium prices, which increase annually, and get ignored consistently. This is fine until we then get shafted by the removal of a tangible value. Today, we were supposed to have 2 of the 69/70 squad pre-match. Didn’t happen. Mr Nagle and CD engage constantly with the fan base, quite rightly, but we have seen them once, for 5 minutes at the back of the room looking on while Threlfall-Sykes announced that Rambo was being “re-deployed” (a sinister and, as it turned out, accurate description). Unfortunately, the WRC clientele, including me, are likely to put up with it. Probably the reason the powers that be take the piss out of us. |
