Yes, John Saunders did indeed die in 1998. The website link below flags up his death and if you search the other years you'll find quite a few ex-Town players who have sadly passed on; John Oldfield, Chris Balderstone, Johnny Quigley to name but a few. Click HERE

I thought Tony Leighton was taller than that, but I was only a nipper when I knew him when he lived in Roberttown.
Maybe he's all hunched up 'cos he's freezing his arse off. Great picture.

Good website Mansfield Terrier, also a bit upsetting. Some good players have left us. I remember Noel Brotherton always gave us a torrid time when playing for Blackburn. Some very sad losses on there.
