Title says it all really. Gonna start coming over 2-3 times a year hopefully, and looking for inexpensive yet not rubbish acommodation. Please help if you can!

Looks good, this thanks. But, just wondering, is £55(am trying to get the missus on board) considered cheap? Would have thought it would be possible to get under £50?

If you are coming from Norway I wouldn't start worrying about a fiver. Try the premier inns or travelodge sites. You;ll not get anything much cheaper and remember it's a proper pub, not some sterile hotel bar. Good luck

Trying not to sound too stupid here, but what's a travelodge And another quick question; if I want to be there for Boothy's last game, would Leyton away or Brighton at home the week before be the best bet for great atmosphere?

The Griffin Lodge is a decent one on Manchester Road about 5minutes from Town. No idea of prices though: www.griffinlodge.co.uk/

There's a travelodge at the end of Mirfield near the 3 nuns, about 2-3 miles from the ground,a bus stop directly opposite which should be cheap

Yeah, it looks like I'll go for that one, since the other one is in a rough area....I don't mind myself, but in order to persuade the girl to come along, I'll need to get somewhere nice.

The Huntsman Inn, Holmfirth where i work is £45(subject to change) Although quite far from the ground youd probably have to pay £13 for a taxt one way !! Or a taxi into Holmfirth and then a bus from holmfirth to Huddersfield www.the-huntsman-inn.com

Couldn't you get one in Leeds? I know its blasphemous to suggest so - but its only a short hop on a train and if you are taking the missus then there are plenty of places to appease her with a fancy meal out.
I reckon you could stay in the travel lodge or ibis in the city centre for about £40.

Gotta agree with ding here. Theres far more to do in Leeds/Manchester if you are making a weekend of it and your gert might enjoy it more if you are dragging her to the game ;D

I too am intrigued to know how you came to support the terriers???

How come you support Town mate if you dont mind me asking? ;D Well, it started with an old manager game in 93 or something(not cm), where you had to start in div4. And from then I kept an eye with results, not easy doing much else before the internet, didn't become a real "supporter" and began checking out news daily until about 5 years ago. Only been to 1 game(vs Bradford in 07).

The Lodge, Beast Market is run by Johnny Marsden (ex: Johnnys)... It will be decent and he supports Town... you should e-mail and tell them your plans I'm sure they'll do you a good deal, and it's in the middle of town www.iknow-yorkshire.co.uk/accommodation/202-huddersfield_central_lodge-huddersfield.htm
