How will we do? Cheltenham are struggling, but have proven to be a bogey team for us in recent times. If Town are to realise any distant hopes of making the play offs then this is one of those games we must win. Chat away on this thread about this game.

I dread this fixture every year. We always seem to play badly there and who can forget the infamous Pav backpass? I can see no other result but a defeat

Agreed, they shouldn't be a bogey team but they are.

Been on the Ale Gruber? Early but i applaud you mate.
Nearest ground for me too but i detest the bleedin place, always but always lose, shite ground, expensive and small but i guess at least they've put a roof on the away end and the comedy stewards are always good for a larf!! Bollx to the crimbo shopping, im off, first stop that little pub/club next to the car park.
Oooohhh to be a ...............

Went to the Pav debacle match. Never again. Followed instructions to get to the ground ok but got hopelessly lost coming away.
I remember the little club by the car park though .................

Went into that club before the game last season and had a few. All I can remember is having to visit the toilet every ten minutes during the match

There is a fair Wetherspoons in town of Cheltenham....bit away from ground though......little clubhouse is ok but more than 20 in there and you cant get served.......best pub is carry on past the ground and about 200 yards on right is a massive pub that welcomes home and away fans....chippy opposite to fill the walk back to the ground too!!!!!

Typical non-league ground, not a happy hunting ground agreed but we've not played them all that often yet! 5 of us going down in a car on sat for a few bevvies(not the driver of course) cos it beats xmas shopping, its become a bit of a tradition for us going to away match on sat before xmas, Colchester away was a belter, bitter cold as i remember but it was worth it to bump into Jon and Anders(Swedish Terriers) of course they said the cold was nothing compared to what they are used to. So c,mon down on sat and lets create a festive atmosphere for the boys.

Shall be there, 3 of us driving down early for a fair few beers before hand in the Weatherspoons that is a cracker! Need to find a dominos in Cheltenham though as its now a tradtion to have one before each away game, costly yet amazing.
As said before, it beats Christmas shopping everyday of the week.
Got my Forest tickets and coach tickets too.

Now i could be wrong about this, but i thought i had heard that the game was been brought forward to the Friday night, so as not to clash with the Cheltenham race meeting on the Saturday? I would have thought this will have a big bearing on how many Town lot go down, could be we might not reach the mighty 58?

On paper this is a winable match. But so are Northampton and Crewe, but some how i dont think we will get 9 points. Prove me wrong Town.
