yes capt.youre spot on.be nice to see the one you are on about come off  Complete stab in the dark, but might that involve Eardley coming to Town? Holdsworth to Oldham? Eardley won't be signing for us now that we've got Peltier. Other than that...  |

Holdsworth joining Oldham would have no relevance to Eardley joining Town cos Holdsworth no longer belongs to Town.
The only link there is that they can both play right back but that means little cos they can play elsewhere also.

Alright chaps. My sentiments on Holdsworth are exactly the same as majority posted thus far. Even though he is training with us at the moment and it all does sound very positive from a City fan's point of view, I honestly cannot see him signing for the simple fact of dropping down a league wont sound all that appealing to him. I think we can afford him, that there is no question of even if he is asking that little bit too much - It'll all be worth it especially from what i've seen of him so far. I'm trying not to get to overly excited on the matter but where and who he signs for, will all be revealed by the end of the week - His words, not mine. He could be the difference between a top 7 or an automatic finish. With all this speculation following him around, he'll probably end up signing for someone like bloody Tranmere or Yeovil or some other tinpot, no potential club just because it's League One fricking football as apposed to League Two.  |
