Surely he's due an appearence seeing as we've won a few games recently!
If he's reading this i'd like to point him towards the shocking catering avaliable. On the coldest night of the year they had sold out of hot chocolate before half time started. What an absolute joke. As a rule I don't buy food from the Galpharm as we don't get the money, but seeing as it was so cold I thought i'd treat myself, only to be denied because someone had massively underestimated demand. Many elements of this club are an absolute shambles.

Many elements of this club are an absolute shambles. The company who is in charge of them, also do hull and Sadford. EMC is the name, and adrian and simon are the names of the guys who own "it". Don't know bout hull, but I know since they arrived at city its all gone tiddles up. Not enough beer for matches, pants and expensive food. They laid all the staff off at city and employed kids to serve food that is simply warmed up on site yet charge even more for it than the previous stuff. I Know people who go in the banqueting suite there regular. Might be an idea to vent all the complaints to Adrian and Simon. Cut out the middle man so to speak. I believe they are contracted to this arrangement so it wouldn't be that easy for the club to break the contract..

Now that surname rings a bell.

my mate asked for a cheese and onion pasty and the girl behind the counter gave him some cheese and onion crisps because (and in her words) "well they've got cheese and onion in them so they are nearly the same"
shocking service, i queued for 15 mins to get some lukewarm bovril!!!

I must admit I've never had a problem (so far) except when you buy a Meat and Potato pie before kick-off and the crust is hard! Sometimes you need a spade just to get into it. But other than that, no problems... as yet. :-)

Quick solution - Take a flask with you.! Much cheaper, far tastier, and no queueing.

my advice - Tetleys - very smooth, but a tad cold for a night like last night. Solution - a glove.

My son and I attended the Millwall game last night, in as you are aware was appalling weather. We also went to Chelsea last Staurday. At Chelsea we purchased 2 hotdogs and 2 hot drinks, they were 1st class and not overley priced. Last night, and not for the first time this season we have bought the same at the Galpharm. What we got last night can only be described as pure dross. No sugar was available to put into the drinks, when we eventually got them, When I asked for some, all I got in reply was "we don't have any, cant you drink it without". this was on top of having to wait until hot water was brought in a jug from one of the other tea bars. Only one of the two hot water dispensers were working, and this has been the case for quite a number of weeks. With regards to the hotdogs, they should be renamed "only just warm dogs". Both my son and I had to throw above half of our so called hotdog in the bin because it was that cold and seemed to me that it was heated about 2 hours prior and then left to cool.

Didn't help that in the busiest outlet in the Kilner they only had 2 tills operating, and with queues stacking up one of the operators was being continuously interrupted by one of the drones in green that wander around behind them seemingly doing nothing in particular.
Here's a conversation I had...
Me:"Balti pie please".
Odd:"Batty?"
Me:"Balti pie."
Odd: Points at cornish pasties with a questioning face.
Me:"No. BALTI. PIE. Erm...just a pie. ANY pie". Pointing at pies.
Me:"And a coffee please"
Odd:"Hot chocolate?".
Me:"No. Coffee"
Me: Wanders off. Confused.

At least our club isn't close to going bust unlike Rotherham United. Are you sure? According to KD we have been losing a million quid a year on gates of 9, 10 thousand and more. And the gates are getting much smaller than that.

They are utterly useless. I have no idea where they find the staff from?
The kids who work at McDonalds etc have a bit about them, but the ones at the Galpharm ...
Went for pre match hot chocolate. No lie the girl serving took four minutes to serve ONE customer a pasty and a hot drink. It isn't rocket science
It's not what you need when you're near kick off
Sort it out. Everytime I use the catering outlet they continue to amaze me with their utter ineptitude!

Is that the faint sound of a buck being passed? Im sure Gareth hardcastle will pay far more attention to a few grumbling customers than to the people who actually renew their contract. My advice- take your own food and drink. Should be doing that anyway as none of the money goes to HTFC

I bought a tea and a kitkat a couple of games ago. The lad behind the counter clocked it up on the till and asked for £4.60. "Are you sure" I said. He had another go............. £9.60 "Are you sure" I said. He had another go................ £6.40
I just put £2.20 on the counter and left him to it.

Just got a response. Very quick indeed. Much better than their service!:
Hi David
I am sorry you experienced poor service on Tuesday night. Without wanting to make excuses we were severely effected by the weather. With some 20 staff not arriving for work. However, we still felt we had enough staff to enable us to serve the low crowd that attended.
I do not know whya) it took so long to serve you and b) why they ran out of hot drinks. We certainly did not run out as all the stock was in place for this Sundays rugby match.
Please could you give me an indication of which part of the ground you were in, so I can ascertain which kiosk you visited.
Once again apologies and I will ensure this is investigated and acted upon.
Regards

If you're 'constantly looking to address' the ongoing complaints, what improvements have you noticed since you first started looking? I don't use the kiosks myself cos I dont want to fund KSDL more than I have to, but from what people say, the service is still abysmal, the food and drink (when it hasn't run out) is still overpriced and substandard. I couldn't give a stuff if no one used the kiosks myself, in fact I wish they didn't, but it just adds to the overall rubbish matchday value Town get for our extortionate rental agreement, whether it be the crap catering, crap pitch, crap tannoy ,broken scoreboard, or the generally filthy state of the unkept stadium. As mere tennents, maybe if our owner wasn't also the landlord, we might start demanding some kind of value for money for the £1.3m we prop KSDL up with every year!!!!

it has fallen into a shabby state of disrepair.
the food/service is crap.
in fact - the whole thing is a shambles!
god knows how they are going to attract new supporters down there - if anyone had been this season for the first time - cant see what would persuade them back.
when we all die so will the club!
both seemingly on our last legs anyway, like. ;D

Nothing to do with the catering but I have to say the stadium is very dirty. Wrappers, and confetti haven't been swept up since last home game. The once grey concrete is now black with dirt and chewing gum has been allowed to remain on the floor and turn black. If I didn't support Town it would certainly turn me off. For a stadium thats only 13 years old it is a shame.

While we're on the catering, I took a mate of mine to his first ever Town match on Tuesday night (what a game to choose, eh?) and at half time he couldn't buy pretty much anything, since he's a vegetarian and we don't seem to cater for that! Only now have I realised we don't sell chips!!
