So you watched the game with the International Manafer from Gambia and expect his "comments" to convince us that Kamara is not a good player. Also spouting off about your credentials isn't going to make you OPINION any more credible. Kamara was our best player at Elland road (I was there too), and I've also played at a decent level. Kamara was the ONLY play who hurt Leeds in the first half, what game were you watching. He was also the ONLY player who Bristol Rovers were clearly wary of. He wins free-kicks because opposition at this level tend to kick the more dangerous players. You should have gone to Soho Square fella, if 'credentials' dont mean anything in football, you might have walked straight into the England job! Kamara has several good runs at Leeds in the first 20 minutes, then went missing for the rest of the game. Players dont 'kick' dangerous players! 20 years ago they did, but anymore! They call them names and try and talk them out of it and mark them good and close. If he was getting 'kicked' every 2 minutes he would be off injured all the time. Sorry, I thought we were playing players BETTER than this division, with a view to moving onwards and upwards but you are clearly happy with Div 3 players. We have comments on this thread that admit he cannot trap a ball and cannot cross, yet they still claim him to be a good player. He is a winger for f*cks sake! You're the one who spouted of about playing with England Internationals to make your opinion seem more credible, not me mate. The second and third paragraphs of your post (quoted above) are again your opinion, not fact. With regards to the comments about Kamara not being able to trap a ball or cross, again it's your opinion. I was one of those who rightly slated Kamara when he first joined, but the fact that only Holdsworth is now rivalling him for the player of the season tells it's own story. Either Kamara has improved ten fold, or the rest of the team are pub players. So let's be objective for a second and look at the facts: Kamara is our second top scorer (he has scored more goals than the rest of the Midfield put togheter) Kamara has had the most shots on goal in our team (with the highest shots to shots on target ratio) Kamara is our most fouled player. (make of that what you will) From what I've seen (I've been to all bar two games), Kamara is the only player in our side where the opposition feel they have to double up on him. Yes, Kamara doesnt have the best control, but the FACTS suggest that he's more than pulled his weight this season. Without Kamara we would be just above the relegation zone, and out of the FA Cup (FACT) He's far from the finished article (he's just turned 24 hasnt he). but he's bailed us out on a few occasions of late (FACT) All of our away wins this season have largely down to Kamara's excellent individual performances (Millwall,Swansea, Accy and Bournemouth). He was MOM in every single one of those games. Was the best player on the park against Orient, was our best player against Grimbsy and was the best of a bad bunch against Leeds. That's 7 games were Kamara has been our best, if not one of our best players. Not bad for a players who's apparently pants. Again, these are all facts mate. The comment about crosses is again another subjective one, for there have been many times when Beckett and Cadamateri (who are both a tad overweight in my opinion) have failed to attack the six yard box when the low ball has come in. Jevons has recently joined and already converted a Kamara cross, and should have converted another chance against Bristol Rovers. (The same could have been said of Booth agains Leeds) Of all our problems (an inbalanced left hand side, leaky defence, pedestrian frontline, uncreative central midfield) Kamara is the least of them by quite a long shot.

I didnt spout off you tool, I gave credentials, thats all, so if you cant handle that and think that makes you below me, then thats your problem. We wouldnt be in the relegation zone and out of the cup without Kam Fact Fact F*cking Fact, because we would have had another 11th man who might have done something more/better/improved! Cast your mind back to the piss take 4th goal at L***s. Kamara lets his marker walk away from him and for some reason puts his hand up like he needs to pee (I think he might be claiming off side!!). Funny you didnt mention that calamity. OK, so he has scored more goals than the rest of the midfield put together! So when a polski fiat beats a skoda, a lada and FSO to 60 mph does that make it a fast car? So Cads and Beckett didnt get to the low cross, so why put the cross in then, does he not play with them in the week and understand their pace and requirements? Orient, the whole team gave a good performance that day, Kam included. Now your last paragraph is bang on and I agree entirely!

haha! Hang on am I right in thinking your saying someone else does'nt know much about football after you have called kamara crap....... oh dear....pot kettle black springs to mind. Guess it shows playing pro football doesn't mean you know that much about it then No I wasn't calling him crap. I think after a poor start he's been excellent. I was arguing against YorkTerrier2 saying he was crap and he should know cause he's played pro football

You're obviosuly a poster who likes to have the final word, so I'll let you win this one (If you promise to stop swearing P.S Just because I question your opinion doesnt make me a tool. I'm also happy that we've agreed on one thing (my last paragraph) Your comment about the Skoda is also an extremely stupid and rushed analogy.

You offer me the last word, then proceed to berate my analogy of the motor cars, which I thought was an appropriate scenario, especially given the type of vehicles that I recalled! Your right about the 'tool' and the swearing, it was merely emphasis, thats all and at least I had the decency to * it. I will think of you at the Crewe game when he 'traps' the ball!

Holdsworth or Wallwork if I have to hang my hat on anyone. Not going to Cheltenham as just had knee surgery and cant drive. Signed myself out of hospital and paid £110 on taxis for L***s game just in case you wondered if I had genuine commitment to town.

It's good to be able to have a bit of banter/arguments with fellow town fans, that's what will keep this forum going at the end of the day. Hope your knee gets better soon. With regard to your choices, Holdsworth has been very good, but Wallwork has blown a little hot and cold for me. I dont know about you, but I was expecting a little more from a player with his reputation. Still a good signing though, and will be interesting if he comes here permanantly, as he's supposed to be on quite a large wage.

Player of season so far: probably Holdsworth. Look forward to seeing him play with Worthington in midfield. Next: Boothy. Interesting that no one on this (or the last) website had Boothy in their preferred line up at the start of the season. Kamara? Well, I thought he looked a pub player for the first few games (albeit a classical music listening one)and it's true, he is devoid of touch. Yet compare his goals/crosses/impact etc with that of the skilful Schofield. No contest.
