Hi guys....I have a problem, many of you may not realise (apart from wrong boy, philincal etc.....but you can't listen to any bbc radio when it has football on due to rights etc......does anyone know of any other radio stations that will have the big 2 games on today?

I can sometimes pick up Talk Sport in Cologne... 1089 MW.
Give it a go, if you have a MW radio.

As in it's not live on the internet?
No idea.
They certainly have live commentary, if that's what you mean.
As I say, I can pick it up sometimes (especially at night) on a MW radio - they're fairly cheap in shops like "Mediamarkt", "Saturn" and "Kaufhof".

yep tried, could not pick it up, maybe due to some 100ft trees outside my house.......

Try again tonight.
For some reason, anyone who knows anything about radio waves might be abke to explain this, there's a stronger signal at night in West Germany when it's dark.
The only problem is when the adverts come on - they regionalise the ad breaks in the UK, so because we're picking up all the different signals at once, you can hear three adverts all going at the same time.
It's quite trippy.

Cheers Yeah, not much help this, but we don't have to worry about big Premier games. As I mentioned on another thread recently, we have brilliant TV coverage on Saturdays and Sundays. |

hey the arabs do ok as well. every premiership game is on live, think there were 6 or 7 on sat afternoon at the same time on different channels. I always end picking the wrong one to watch, and if i start flicking between channels i end up missing goals left , right and centre.
They keep on flying out old players to the studio in dubai. Derek white is on every week (think he played for celtic and middleboro) and then a guest. This week was chris waddle (don't think they played the waddle/hoddle single tho).
also the championship/league one/two games are on live when they are showing them back home.
I wouldn't mind but when i go home to the UK i'm not that bothered about watching the games on tv.

Bugger ... we don't get the League 1 or 2 games, although they do show the FA Cup games where a "giant killing" might be involved.

Yeah maybe. If it shows the Sky feeds for League 1 games, that would definitely be good. I'll try it. I subscribed to that football4free site that was mentioned on here a couple of years back. It cost a fiver a year. I really got to brush up on my Cantonese too ;D ;D ;D |
