Right I have been wondering this for ages.

I have been told by several people that cameron was kicked out of both new college and the academy for beatin up a dinner lady.

I have been told this by my colleagues who were at new college with him
also a friend of mine told me this on a seperate occassion.

just checking if any one else had heard this?

He's a (quite good) Birmingham city player who, it so happens, is from Huddersfield.

One thing i will say, if this was true (the story of an attack ona dinner lady) we would have surely heard about this in the Examiner, amongst other newspapers and media outlets.

As an ex-New College student, I also reckon someone might have mentioned this... I've heard nothing.

But then again, I'm not exactly omni-present.

Not sure if this is true either, but did anyone hear about Dennis Wise on Friday night - apparently he was spotted cruising round Huddersfield squirting prostitutes with water from a pipette?

i have never heard this and know his father really well,doesnt mean its not true mind,i know he was on middlesboros books as a young lad before cardiff,a coach at boro moved to cardiff and got them to buy him,always thought he was another to slip the net.

i heard from one of his mates (who just so happens to be a friend of mine) left huddersfield town after being pushed down the stairs by other academy players. although this could be just rumours

Looking back at my New College days, the meals were really quite bad - maybe he got fed up with his daily diet of "Fried Egg in a Bread Bun"?

well im not entirely sure that it is true though. im about 90% certain though. a lot of my mates, including myself, have horror tales of our days with huddersfield town schoolboy and academy teams. e.g. being rejected because of 'height restrictions', etc.

Load of crap, this is the honest truth coming here....

Myself and cameron jerome played for Space under 17s at the yorkshire cup a few years back. I played a year above what i should have been and we both played as strikers. he was picked up by sheffield wed from there and i went to Notts county. He was amazing in that tournament however we went out at the first group stage and lost in the runners up final.

he did go to new college for a while however he left when his football career was starting, he did not get chucked out.

He was a "free agent" before sheff weds had him, he was NOT with towns acadamy.

Hope this helps you lot, and this is the honest truth! Something we're not used to at this club!

I then moved on to uni in stirling and played for East stirling, he's now playing for the England under 21's, and im getting trials at Guisley etc.

Im obviously the better player....

You sure Kilroy? It's pretty well documented he was with Town. Man U wanted to sign him but we refused to let him go and he gave up playing for a while until signing for Sheff Weds. He's said as much in interviews.

All i can comment upon is his path from the Yorkshire cup with Space Fc. before that he must have been 16 at the most, which means if he was with town he wasnt old at all!

And if he was only 16ish then he cant have been at new college when with town?!

If he was with town before that then fair enough i have no idea!

Surely though town wouldnt release him if man utd wanted him before that?

Went to high school with cam in the same year, he was at town but got let go dont know why when he was about 14. Also went to new college with him when he was there and the dinner lady story is bull!! still speak to him and that when i see him round town hes a top guy know doubt he will be looking forward to the game.

I was at College with Cameron Jerome! We were in thew same maths class. He was slightly disruptive in class but nothing too bad! He was still at HNC when I left (my 2nd year was his 1st)

P.s, I think he was at Town's academy but left for whatever reason! Don't think he was kicked out though! He was at Sheff Wed's academy at the time!

If he was at Grimsby he could have just left because he had the chance to join Middlesbrough’s academy – which is one if not the best in the country for bringing players through into the professional game, even Mark Hudson! I know what I would do in his position.

Sounds like Town had him spotted but lost him for some reason. Gerry Murphy is apparently a bit of a disciplinarian so I doubt he would have been pushed down some stairs.

It’s more likely the Manchester United story IMO, they have scouts in the area (a al Fraser Campbell) and no doubt would be aware of such of a talent in their catchment area, he wouldn’t be the first to have his head turned by them!

Good luck to bloke, it’s always nice to see a local lad do well. Likewise Caleb Folan (ex Wigan) is another we missed, and apparently he was a Town season ticket holder!

Me thought that Frazer Campbell got picked up as his teacher at Huddersfield Grammer knew a man utd scout/coach and sent him for a trial?
