David (Dave) West, 56 of Cleckheaton passed away last night in LGI after suffering a heart attack on Monday night.
Thought i would post it on here as i know they are a few people who know him from "back in the day" and even up until the present day watching Town.
He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
R.I.P Dad, Sleep well. Your in a better place now x x x x

Whenever a thread like this appears, I always get the feeling that another face you'd recognise has gone. Always sad.
Rest in peace fellow terrier.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss and the passing of Dave an old mate of mine. I moved from Westgate Cleckheaton over 20 years ago and went from Heaton Avenue School to West End Middle and eventually Whitcliffe Mount with Daves brother Antony...Westy. When the Millbridge first started it's regular away day travels which is over 25 years ago now we were all on board and had some fantastic times together with plenty away day tales!! RIP Dave and my condolences to you and your family

So very sorry to read this. My Dad being a similar age, and seemingly from the same area reading other posters' descriptions, may have knocked about with him. Very sorry to hear about your loss. R.I.P

I presume this is Richard? Used to work with you and your dad at Tesco Cleck. I remeber how we'd stick up for each other when George would be taking the piss out of Town!
So sorry to hear your news. RIP Dave, chin up Richard.
