Did someone mention boycott? ;D Rip off price for 3rd division footie but how much are we going to charge for the reciprocal fixture? £25? Also a rip off IMO. I won't be going to either game.

£4784 I'm loving this thread. It appeals to my tight fisted careful approach to money.

I grew up just outside Sheffield and have loads of Sheff Weds and Utd supporting mates and was really looking forward to both the away games. Whilst I've been to Hillsborough several times to see Town I've only ever been to BDBL once before (December 1996 game when we lost 3-1 despite taking the lead through Andy Payton). Therefore, I was looking forward to taking some time off to drive down from Newcastle to see the game like I did for the Sheffield FC pre-season game. However, I'm not paying £28.50 for a ticket so add another adult to the running total...

I want Town to refuse to sell tickets for this. If they do then they may as well condone it...
What are we charging SUFC fans at our place? Bet its not £28...

I'll definitely be there, why would I pay £25 plus petrol to go to Hartlepool but boycott Sheff Utd for an extra £3.50?

How the hell can they justify charging us £28 and bury just £14??? They can't. Yeah Bury is Cat C and we're Cat A, but to have such a big increase (which is increased even more due to that extra 10%) between the categories (Colchester as Cat B will be paying £18 I think it is), is just absolutely insane.

Technically speaking I'm not going to Sheffield Utd because of the cost. : : Six hundred quid is a lot for a boring draw...

1 adult here not going.
I went to Hartlepool, but not going to Sheff Utd on principle. That is the principle that we'll play 451 and draw. Again.
To put the £28.50 in some context, there was a piece in Guardian today on the cost of the cheapest tickets you can buy in the PL. Cheapest at Man Utd about 28 quid, but ffs Arsenal is £51!!!!!!!! How much are the good seats? Not surprised they moan about their unsuccessful streak of being in 14 champions leagues on the trot!

One adult here not going on principle because of the price.
For £22 to quid I'd had gone, add to that cost of petrol, a bite to eat, maybe one drink and your talking upwards of £80 quid.
In that context an extra £6 quid is peanuts, but I'll not be going, it's the principle.
