He says he's worried about it disrupting things? Well why doesn't he come and say hes not going anywhere because he quite clearly fancies the job and why wouldnt he after some of the shite thats being spouted about? how many games had we played this season when people we're calling for his head? i'd want away too if i was him! Give over, nasty town fans driving him to fullfil his stated ambition

""Now that doesn’t mean to say if people come calling, you don’t know what the next stage is"" Not sure if this is a direct quote but if it is then it looks to me like managerspeak for "Please Please come and get me"
I don't know if the following scenario has been considered... That Clark goes for an interview and then gets rejected for the job. That would be an absolute shocker for relationships/morale etc..
This "speculation" stuff is becoming a bit of a mess and a definate distraction. Hopefully Leicester will announce their manager sooner rather than later and we can all get on with the business of trying to get out club out of this division

Its worth noting that managers very rarely come out and categorically say "i am going nowhere". Rumours like this help to form part of their salary negotiations for future contracts.
Incidentally i would be quite surprised if they went for Clark, their vice chairman has already stated he wants someone with championship know how and even if they didnt go that way, there are plenty of ex prem managers around before they take on a young league one manager, quite clearly they want instant success.

Not sure who was calling for his head?
And if he is affected by a few negative comments on a message board then maybe a move to Leicester (or anyone else in a higher profile position) isn't for him
Surely it is more to do with his ambition, and the opportunity that he would have; compared to what awaits him should we fail to go up this season?
Fair play to him I reckon if he does go, he will have done well for himself.

I just can't see the owners of Leicester with all the money they have, taking a gamble on a manager that hasn't achieved promotion or managed at Championship level or above. I think Lee Clark is more than capable of managing at that level but will foreign owners who want to market there club, go for a smaller name who might not cut it. When they can afford the likes of Hughes, O'neil, Mclaren, Davies to name a few. I may be wring but im breathing easy. However I still think Clark should rule himself out as this speculation could influence our result on Saturday.

One of the worst (of many) FA fu** ups in the last 10 years was appointing that ballsack for England manager when O Neill was available

Well yeah, I wouldn't be appointing him if I were the Leicester chairman, but IF they do want him, I reckon he will go.
I can't see them approaching us and Clark turning them down, if the quotes attributed to him are correct.
Be mad for him to do so, in fairness.

Where's the proof of this Danny Hoyle syaing on Twitter that Clarky is going nowhere.
Have to say, I'd be gutted and rather angry if he left.
Personally i think he's done a great job since day one - the club has moved on dramatically under his guidance - but as some say, not many chairmen would have stuck by him with the resources he has.
I think it's about time he came out and quashed these rumours, not least to show the same loyalty to Deano that he has been shown himself. This cannot be good preparation for Yeovil as the players will surely be as edgy as we are.
C'mon Clarky, show us the faith you've constantly asked us to show you and your players

Aye it seemed to be an almost "come and get me" rather than anything else.
Maybe I have misread the context in which it was said though.
Think tomorrow we will know, one way or the other.

Wouldn't count on it. Reckon this could drag on a few days. Hope it doesn't mind. Would love him to just come out and say he's not going anywhere.

But if you were Dean Hoyle would you keep your son in the loop with everything that was going on in your business . Especially if he had been known to have the odd "indiscretion" on social networking sites

Odds now at 6/4 on sky bet, slowly drifting back out. Hopefully he's had his day as favourite and it will be someone else tomorrow.

I'm fookin shitting my pants about this now, I wasn't worried until tonight. Really don't want him to go. After all that's gone on, I wanted him to lead us over the line.
Dean should tell them to kindly fck off.

Dean should tell them to kindly fck off. My thoughts exactly. Couldn't see him leaving but in all his interviews he's never actually come out and said he isn't interested, he's just said he's happy here and doesn't want the rumours to disrupt saturdays game. Hopefully when I wake up he'll be back to 20/1 and not even in the frame!
