Why? Only a fool would change a system thats got 41 unbeaten games on the trot... Agree but they don't, they bring in all their men and it's their way not Clarks. I'd be worried if it was me, last thing you needed was this, could really derail your season. Another thing, will Clark come back for all your decent players? If he stays then all is good until you go on a bad run then all the doom and gloom merchants will be saying that he should of gone lol. Bet you've been touching yourself about this all day. Thinking it's the only chance you might have to take 2nd??!! Well dream on...the incoming manager will be told he has to use the squad he inherits...a squad which is by some distance the best in this league...I'd be afraid if I were you. With the right man in we could win this division by 15 points imo

Too right! Have you also noticed that Town have the same number of points this season as Brighton had last year with the same number of matches?
OK so Poyet turned Brighton around quicker than LC at Town , and LC has had plenty of money to spend, but the team has got better year on year. Any change can only be a big threat to promotion now.

Anyone who thinks Lee Clark leaving now would be a good thing either needs to stop taking the medication they're on or go get to the docs sharpish and get some

Anyone who thinks Lee Clark leaving now would be a good thing either needs to stop taking the medication they're on or go get to the docs sharpish and get some The medication stands with you my friend. Tablets readily available for them that don't quite understand the jist of a thread. Nobody has ever said it would be a good thing, simply that they wouldn't lose any sleep if he departed. For every problem, there is a solution.

I think the people that are worried are the same ones who believe it takes 40+ signings and 3 years to challenge for promotion from L1. Including writing off one or two seasons as it "isn't (the new manager's) team"
We have two league games in the next month, at home to Walsall and Notts County, games we should win with Dean Hoyle in charge.
If we make the right appointment (not a complete managerial novice) there is no reason why we can't push on and get promoted this season.
Clark has done a good job recently but the squad of players we have and the backing DH will no doubt provide in January will make this an attractvie job to loads of good candidates.
Nothing we can do anyway, there are much more important things to concern ourselves with...
