If Rhodes or even Novak was injured I'd agree we had striker problems but Alan Lee been out is more a target man problem than a striker problem.

Yeah have to agree. not really concerned that lee is out. if Clark would have swapped Lee for Novak nobody would have battered an eyelid. but now he 'has' to do it. the world is coming to an end. we shall see, as for wednesday! hahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahhahaha. ha.

But ain't one of the reasons Rhodes looks a different player this year and has scored more goals is because of lee? I know what people are saying about not too bothered about lee being out but I bet a bad night at the valley and afternoon at hillsbrough would change opinion!!

Lets hope that if they (in theory only) are thumping us LC will instruct our lads to go out and crock BWP so that they will struggle over the Christmas period and beyond.  Injuries (serious and minor) are part and parcel of the game and very few teams (bar maybe Stevenage) set out to hurt the other teams. Think how innocuous the challenge that snapped Pilks leg looked at first sight. We can just hope that we are lucky with injuries. Won't be wishing any injuries on any players from our promotion rivals (its a twat's trick and we all know how we react when its the other way round). However I hope they all suffer a massive loss of form resulting in no goals for 6 or 7 games whilst we march proudly on to the Championship (I can dream can't I) |

Alan Alan Lee looked due for a rest so the 3 game ban might work out OK & Novak's scoring as well. The only issue is there's no plan B. At least it's not happened with a packed fixture list so the front 2 get a good rest between games.

From what my Leeds supporting mate said at the time is that he's always injured and isn't anything special.
Hard to see where Wednesdays goal will come from now.

Goals from elsewhere shouldn't be a problem - I think we've had something like 16 different goalscorers already this season and the Ryan Lowe/Chris O'Grady partnership is looking quite promising. |

If our top goalscorer is out Novak and Lee would struggle and you question where our goals would come from, but now you are in the same position (albeit for shortish period) you have several ready made replacements to score the goals including midfielders and a bloke signed on loan who you have never even signed before........Right  |
