Clark has been trying to solve our issues at centre half for ages now and I still don't think we've found anyone who you can honestly say is that much better than Nathan Clarke
Our main issue is that all the centre halves we sign lack pace and we go and sign another one who isn't the quickest. Get a centre half with a bit of pace and decent in the air and put him alongside P.Clarke and we'll look far less vulnerable

The lad is a decent player so give him a chance!!. Maybe if people knew the real truth what happened at Town when Steve Bruce was in a charge, but the fact is most dont.

And I would rather have had O'Brien.
And why only a month? Loans expire not long before Jan xfer window, and there are 2 two games at end december where Bruce would have to leave and McCombe would have to come back.
Can loans be extended outside the loan window?

Leeds fans views: Something must have happened between Bruce and Grayson because he's found himself completely frozen out and he's not the worst defender we have albeit quite error prone(sound familiar?  ) It seems like a regular occurrence for Grayson to fall out with his defenders. Poor Bruce. He wasn't anywhere near as bad as people made out. Grayson - Bruce to Huddersfield is with a view to a longer deal. #lufc Decent player on his day just a shame he is error prone  .gif I expected a lot from him when he first joined because my mate (Incester fan) thought he was the best thing since sliced bread rolleyes.gif I think Bruce is very good at defending against teams that play along the floor, he's quick and reads the game pretty well but when it comes to the other areas and in particular ariel battles he's just not good enough, not the worst defender but we should and do have better. he was frightened of heading a ball, it was cardiff when he let bothroyd in - i remember watching the 'highlights' after and the camera panned to steve bruce with his head in his hands |

FFS give the guy a chance. He hasn't kicked a ball yet. How is he to blame for what Bruce senior did?. O.k he's coming from Bellend Rd, but does it matter that much if he does o.k for us. Haven't seen enough of him to slag him off yet .

I had been saying we needed a new centre-back.
Perhaps I should now take the opportunity to clarify. I had meant a GOOD one. Not impressed with this signing *at all*.
Until we can find somebody better than what we already have, what we have, will have to do.
