the Town fans, gave some serious backing and in all thought it was a good atmosphere and an excellent game between two sides who are going to be there or thereabouts come May.
Rhodes was phenomenal and took his four goal very well, he is arguably the best striker in the league and he's key to your hopes imho.
Bit of a moan about the 7 minuytes injury time but bugger it, have a good Christmas and see you in April.

Bit of a moan about the 7 minuytes injury time but bugger it, have a good Christmas and see you in April. Unfortunately for you the time wasting came back and bit you on the arse. Ref was a knob but he did warn the goalie about it and had to more or less drag Marshall off. Reckon we'll both be there at the end too.

Bennett was time wasting from the 16th minute, every goal kick taken from "the wrong side"

If he hadn't kept giving us throw ins from his missguided kicking in the last few minutes you'd probably have won the game. Megson was going mental watching him kicking for touch :spaz:

The question is: Is it legitimate to try to buy a player to stop your revivals getting him? i.e Marshall. Because there's no doubt Wednesday would be weaker without him.

yes - hope we get him. Then get Ward out on loan - he's not cutting it.

To be fair he was honest and frank and said he'd spoke to Pulis and heard nothing of Towns supposed interest

Ha ha Ben10 won't be signing for Huddersfield, his words, not mine. Spoke to him at length last Monday at a sponsors dinner Huge difference between Rhodes and Marshall and other clubs wanting to sign them.Rhodes is a Town player contracted to Town and we don't have to sell him also he doesn't want to leave and be a bit part bench warmer at some lower end Prem club. Marshall, however much he says he won't sign for Town will have little or no say in the matter. He is a Stoke player and if they decide to sell him it will be for the best deal for Stoke City not for Ben Marshall.UTT.

Xmas came early at Hillsboro' yesterday. Fourth biggest gate in the country brought the cash rolling in.
And Santa's little helpers, in the shape of Town's defence, handed over four gift-wrapped goals. Had we not been in the festive spirit, we'd have won 4-0....away.

Not really, only goal that you fkd up was our second, the others was a brilliant header, a quality finish by Marshall and a looping header that rooted your keeper, but try to cling on to something.

Ward fooked up for the first goal, Hunt fooked up for the third (although I do think it was a foul) and our defence should not have left a striker unmarked in the box for the fourth.

Come on Town fans, it's lovely that the massive Sheffield Wednesday let us score four goals. Let's not worry about how we managed to concede four goals, let's bask in the fact that we have managed to avoid defeat by far the biggest club in our division, if not the world.

You forgot their 2nd as well Gary.Watched it this morning. As the ball fell to Naismith I went and made a cuppa and he was just attempting to clear it when I sat back down.Another one gifted.UTT.
