Sort of. Juve v Notts live. Juve opening their new stadium and wanted to invite their daddy team.

Two teams that don't really represent the cities that they play in too. Kind of.
Good luck anyway.

At least we are based in the city that we represent. The red lot can't claim that.

The big difference being that big fuck off river between us. That river creates the boundary between Nottingham and Nottinghamshire with the team with the title Notts being in Nottingham and the team with the title Nottingham being in Nottinghamshire.

1-1. Lee Hughes 87 mins
Not a bad result. Who are County playing on Saturday? Need to lump on as they'll be knackered.

I reckon they'll be ok Saturday, home to Warsaw. Any let up by the players will be lambasted in that game.
Next Tuesday however away to Exeter will be my Nap of the week.

No player who will play on Saturday played more than an hour. For the whole of the 2nd half Luca Toni was being marked by Hayden Hollis a 1st year professional!
So a mix of 1st/2nd strong Notts player drew with a mix of 1st/2nd string Juve players. Not a bad result.

I doubt there'll be much of an immediate drop off in performance - Allen is good at keeping the troops fired up and he's been there long enough for players to know that he'd give them a rocket for treating a league match less importantly than a friendly.
The problem he had at Brentford was that there's only so long you can keep that level up. By the end of the season most players just won't have it left in them to raise their game at all. So, at least with us, the team ends the season looking very one-dimensional (grimly trying to defend 1-0 or 0-0 scorelines and getting caught out with late goals) and incapable of doing much. A bit disappointing if you are finishing in the play-offs because there's simply nothing left to give. Disastrous at the other end of the table. He's been fortunate to have always had enough backing from his players to have got his teams in contention for promotion (but, I don't think any has done more than go through the motions in the play-offs through having been already stretched to the limit to get there) or taken demoralised players and perked them up enough to play the last 10 games as if they were a new season.

Why? The border for the city runs along the river so the evil reds are actually in Nottinghamshire.
