Nothing makes me want to kick my telly in more than the Jenson Button Head and Shoulders advert. I know it's been around for a while but I've been too angry to speak about it till now.

Remarkably, I went into a branch of Santander today and got rather unsettled by 20 or so Lewis Hamilton's learing my way.

stewart lee was exceptional this series, even by his standards

I can tell you from experience that many wenches sit and watch it like he's Lithuanian.

As we all know, gey_man is absolutely wrong about almost everything ever, (as well as being a fat, bald twat with a tiny winky) - but every now and then, like an infinite amount of mongs doing an IQ test, he will randomly get something right. Stuart Lee is one of those occasions.
Back to adverts - do they show the new Maribou advert with bizarre three-mouthed freaks in it over there in backwards little England yet? It really is fucking disturbing, and they don't seem to realise.

I've seen his birth certificate, Eltrington.
Anyway, what about the damn' Maribou (or possibly Haribo) advert?

The last haribo advert I saw was with some supposedly adorable poppet grilling her dad about whether he'd had the last sweet. Just as horrific as what you describe but only because we are supposed to think she is cute and not some vile little stage school shitweasel.

The congruence between confectionery advertising and clichéd paedophile imagery is worthy of at least a Deborah Orr article in the Guardian. See also: Werther's orginal and anything to do with Kinder.
This one has weird genetically modified (or possibly CGI) freaks with a normal mouth plus a mouth in each cheek, so they can eat three sweets at a time. Or eat two while simultaneously smiling at a bemused-looking young woman. It's like they gave the brief to H.R. Giger.

What would really spice up the world of advertising is if they were to choose directors at random to create ads.
David Cronenburg - The Andrex Puppies Eli Roth - Iceland Mums Michael Haneke - Avon

For the first time in your corpulent, glabrous, underendowed life you might well have been right twice in a near-row there, sparky.
A Claude Lanzmann makeover of the "Go Compare" advert could be FABULOUS.

I've been meaning to fully grasp Stewart Lee for a while and this series gave me that reason.

Still giggling about. 'They were good British terrorists. They didn't want to be British, but they were.'
